I know it's not a romance, I was just comparing her with the main cast since the other two male leads are clearely and right from the start very smart (I stopped before seeing the other FL).

Does the FL get better during the show? I watched part of the first episode but already in that scene in the classroom I couldn't stand her as it's seem like the cliche situation where girl is messy, a little dumb and doesn't have her life together while the boy is super smart and cool.

Alright first of all: bromance?! Not really, since if you hate eachother for 15 episodes and barely stand eachothers for 1 because your interests align that doesn't really classifies as bromance in my opinion, but anyway..
I've got conflicting feelings for this drama since I was really into the first part regarding the serial murders, wich nowdays is rare for me since half of the shows I watched in my life are thriller/mystery, but then the politics came in and I started falling asleep every 10 minutes, as I hate politicians and politics with all my might, and since it wasn't tagged or anything I wasn't even prepared for it, but I can see that this is a personal preference.
So, I don't know, I guess I liked it for the most part and hated it for some other parts, like the ending was satisfying for me as well as the acting and the ost.

One of the few dramas I gave it a 10, and I wish I could give it an 11 -- but I can also understand why some peolpe may find it boring since myself too, when I first watched it, wasn't sold on the first episode because it's definetly a slow burn start but since I like the police theme that didn't stop me, and also I really enjoyed the vibe that the show gave off so I stick with it.
It's one of the few dramas where I cared deeply about the lives of the characters and was really invested in it, and I think that's what made this show unbelievably good for me.

Hi! So without giving you many spoilers I would say that beetwen the "good guys" it's just Loony who doesn't get a happy ending, all the others, even tho it's not explicitly shown, they do get some sort of happy ending or clousure in thier life. Regarding Captain Na, no nothing happens to him but onestly near the end I didn't even hate him anymore

It's true that they used Vincenzo's italian background as a comic relif sometimes but I didn't perceived it as offensive, yes obviously they could have done better, but it was fine enogh for me or maybe I just have very low standards for italian's representation in foreneirs shows.
The only thing that was just plain wrong was when Vincenzo says that he came to like instant coffe as much as espresso LOL that's just never going to happen if you grew up in Italy! anyway I get that it was propably just for the product placement of that coffee.
As for the "americanisation of the mafia" that is pretty much true since the mafia in Italy it's not only shooting people in the head or having feuds with rival families, that almost never happens anymore and if it does it's just in some part of the south where it's deply roothed. In reality it mostly involves corruption with polititians, or drugs and stuff like that.

Yes I agree, that's why I don't get mad about it or anything, besides (exept some racist stuff in the first episode with the rival mafia boss, wich sadly it's not even that far form reality) they depiced Italy in a pretty positive way, wich it's rare to see in television in general.
Don't get me wrong tho, it's not like we, as a country in general, are proud of the mafia, but at least I didn't see them butcher our culture, and even tho it was the bad stuff, at least it was in some ways accurate

As an italian, I wish people stopped mis-using that handgesture, wich has a specific meaning, just as a gesture to simbolize something italian. It's not like it's something that I lose sleep over but since they clearily had to do some research on italian culture it would have been nice if they used it correcly.
SJK's italian was decent sometimes and incomprehensible others times, but it didn't bothered me that much either since I understand that the languages and the sounds used are deeply different, besides I don't think I ever heard non-italian people speak it correcly anywhere.
The mafia culture was correct enough so that was nice too.
Still 10/10 for me, it was a hell of a fun ride!

Yeah, I actually drop it at episode 12, I couldn't get myself to care about the characters. It just wasn't my cup of tea

I'm feeling kinda of cheated by all the positive review and the plot summary. I was expecting way more action and military scenes when instead for now it's mainly hospital scenes (wich I usually enjoy but not in this case, and I don't know why) and the privite life of the leads (wich again I usually eat up but not in this drama). I'm on episode 11 and I'm starting to feel bored and wanting to skip scenes, I'm bummed because it's should be the kind of show that I binge in 3 days

Yes that is exacly what I was saying, people tent to categorize something as a BL just beacuse two dudes have sex, when, like in this movie, it's debetable wheter there was any love at all betwen the two men since you can tell that the chief didn't have much of a saying in having or not the relationship with the king, so you can't tell for sure if he had genuine feelings for him, when instead it's obvious that the chief had at least some sort of feeling for the queen

Yeah it was definetly too cliche, I guess they wanted to make him a cautionary tale for taking drugs but it was too nonsense, especially if you consider that he didn't take any drugs for months while he was still in prison and he had decided to quit. Personally I didn't like Loony too much compared to the others but I still felt it was unfair
