I remember reading that the production costs were too high (like a million dollar per episode) and since Ashin hasn't performed has good as it should have Netflix won't renew it
idk because Jiwoong from ZB1 has also done BLs, it hasn't affected his career.
From what I see from his page he hasn't done anything with a big production or with a big network and also he basically started his carreer doing bl so I don't think the example really applies
How is it possible that an actor/idiol as famous as Ok Taec Yeon agreed to made a gay tv show? I'm amazed! Wouldn't making this kind of content hinder his chances of keep doing mainstream televion later on in a country as SK?!
Went to watch this with my expectations below zero after neflix has been systematically ruining or cancelling my favorite shows since 2019 (sweet home, lucifer, manifest, kingdom, sense8 etc) BUT this turned out to be actually pretty good, the first two episodes were slow but it does pick up the pace after that. It wasn't perfect for sure, nothing is, but I really can say that I enjoyed watching it!
Every time I watch any kind of asian drama which involves italy in some way I have to buckle up and suffer through it because of the way they portrait it and us, since it's always very wrong (I'm still traumatized from KinnPorshe) but here, I have to say, having the mafia boss call Vincenzo "chinese" and other racist slures is, unfortunatly, pretty accurate lol
ABOUT THE ENDINGIdk if anyone else ever noticed this, but after watching this for the 5th time I realised that…
I just finished rewatching too and this time I actually also think that it was Kinn's dad, in his last scene he even says "history is written by the victor", which I think says it all. I also believe the production thought they could do another season so they purposely left it all in the air with the ambiguos ending.
