Can someone help me understand the beginning of the drama, the very first scenes of the first episode? What's going on? It just jumped right ahead without any explanation, I don't get it... Why was she dressing up in some weird dress, then her mom and some older man walk in, I don't understand their conversation... Is her mom and her dad divorced, and the dad is the dude who was lying drunk in some room and told Jin Zhao to go get her? And why did she go there? Why now, why not before? Why would she not have ever seen his face during this whole time, not even a photo? But for some reason now she suddenly feels so close to him she is going to look for her? Why? Did she have a fight with her mom and if she did, what was the fight about? I'm confused, maybe because I haven't read the novel. Any explanation appreciated, thanks!

I can't access Weibo from my country, either, so it cuts me off from having a lot of info about dramas and actors. Anyway, thanks for posting this little piece of info here!

Yep, that's what I heard also. I'm just impatient, so I keep coming here even though I know it's not coming out yet. 😝And yes, I know, Guardians of the Dafeng just came out at the beginning of the year... still feeling impatient for the next one to come out. I wish Didi filmed more dramas. But I guess quality over quantity it is , then.

This drama is really good, binge watching, already at ep 8. Just what I needed, a good gripping drama.

Watched it on Tencent but for some reason I couldn't find the last episode 25 there, which makes no sense, why would they have all except one episode available to watch. If anyone finds any page where I could finish the drama last episode, please let me know, thank you!
