OMG how do you cram 3 couples AND a back story into 22 episodes? LOL LOL this is why Kdramas are great story tellers, they get their business done in 16.
I've watched up to ep 14 and honestly, the two best friends' stories are more interesting to me than the ML &…
So true! I love this side story of the two BFFs and her book. Why didn't the write just start with that plot. I could live with out the 2 couples, except for Dr Wu's story with the student. The first almost 10 episodes dragged. It's like apples and oranges- Crush vs Sweet Teeth. I like these two for different reasons, but this poor writer will always have her dramas compared to one of the best Cdramas I've seen which is Crush. Crush will always be on it's own pedestal to me.
I absolutely love all the couples here, but there is something about adorable Lui Yu Cheng I find so cute. I know it says he's a Chinese idol, he looks Korean. Great job acting for a rookie. I found that he and Dr Wu had some chemistry. I love watching them.
Yes after watching this drama every viewer will first think about rewatching this again.
I'm finding little details that I didn't notice before. Example in episode 1, the leaves were falling from the tree where Evan sits under where the violinist is playing. I do notice the director/writer likes nature- it's almost like the rain, the tree leaves, the sunlight are actors in this drama.
Starting back to episode 1. Rewatch #1. I wanna see if I miss any details, relive the sounds of the music, watch their chemistry, review their lines. It's my Crush rehab. It's hard moving on. It's like losing a love.
OK we are moving on..... Dang that drama was seriously giving me anxiety like no other. It was like a car accident on the highway you do not wanna look at but you had to because if you didn't it, you would have to make a u turn to go back and look at it.
Everything I heard while watching Crush was just amazing. I can't say that about any other drama because even the background music can set the mood, the expectation, the feels for the scene you are watching.
I think there will be a fast forward and they meet up again and Issei will be the one she picks. Plus, he's the oldest looking 17 year old I've ever seen! lol I think that's why I'm team Issei.
I'm treating this cute drama as a sit com not really a rom com. It's funny and light hearted, but that it factor is sorta missing. That chemistry, that attraction, those stolen looks (though there's been a couple) that body language, the giggling, that awareness of each other. Maybe it'll come in later episodes. Don't hate me, I do love this show.
