has she been dubbed in all her previous dramas? i am in the middle of episode 1 and that is not the voice she normally has. or maybe it's an episode 1 only thing?

The dub is making this difficult to watch. I know zhao lusis voice too well.

If One Piece and Mr & Mrs Smith had a dramatic ancient Chinese baby it would be this drama. I don’t remember the last time I was this invested in an entire cast and I’m only a few episodes in.

after watching kunning palace, the walking green flag that is Ning Yuanzhou is giving me the MOST butterflies. the speech he gives in ep 7 is so swoonworthy I almost fell in love myself.

Been a minute since i've been this sure about how great something will by from ep 2. I just finished kunning which i did not like so i was worried this would also be average but liu yuning did not show up to play.

omg i just got to the part that clearly is why everyone calls him a red flag and ya'll are so right. what did i just watch?

the best part of the drama is xie wei's relationship with minister jiang. i'll fight anyone who disagrees.

I'm on ep 4 and this is moving very slowly. does it ever pick up the pace at all?

she's listed as a main character so that's for sure but still, you can feel it in the air.

when a character is as likable as Almighty Ju in the first episode of a kdrama… brace yourselves folks. I’m already dreading the pain.

i don't remember where their story ends up in eternal love but ELOD is not a sequel as much as an entirely separate drama that focuses exclusively on the other couple's story.

Ban Huas confession is one my favorite confessions ever. It’s so rare for a woman in a drama to be so bold and straightforward and plow through the wall instead of trying to slowly bring it down. I have mad respect for her tbh

i feel like jiu ling in jun jiu ling is a bit like this. she will only lower her head when it's appropriate or strategic but she still does it while doing whatever the fuck she wants. but she's not as straightforward as ban hua. and i agree with the person above about a lot of zhao lusi dramas.

ok then haha but you are missing out. their story is much more light-hearted and fluffy. i don't remember them much in eternal love but i do remember it's different from ELOD. it's a very good drama. didn't even remember they were far apart in age since they live several lives together. she just follows him around in this one annoying him right? yeah it's different.

I mean i'm still pretty triggered so sorry for the rant but he knew. He was not blind. He ignored it. He also ignores how terrible his children behave until their lives are ruined. She makes no apologies to the end. He was weak and pathetic. He oppresses half of his own people and he ignores the suffering and death of humanity and all for his own selfish happiness. He's the only person with the power to stop all the shit that goes down and he does nothing and then the moment he acknowledges that he kills himself to shirk responsibility. it's completely negligence of his duties from beginning to end. She's less irritating bc she's completely delusional and nothing she does makes sense but she is who she is from the beginning. He's an incredibly poorly written, stupid character.
