At least it's tolerable

Hate seeing how spineless Tharn becomes when he's around San. He allows him to kiss him (even though he has a boyfriend), for what? Why did he take it so well? And then San had the audacity of lecturing Type about his relationship, as if he hadn't boned a 14-year-old boy??At least Type retaliated by making him jealous as well. It's still toxic, but oh well. At this point we're embracing the toxicity Iguess. But Tharn forcing himself onto Type again was triggering and I wanted to punch him. Being in a relationship with someone does NOT erase consent. Type didn't want to do it in a public space, so you better back the fuck off the moment he says no for the first time. Surprisingly, they are quite cute for the rest of this ep, even though the 'I'm not gay I just like you' thing still bothers me.Also, Techno is so cutee, I love him T-T

Just why.

I thought we were done with the f-word but okay. I guess it's a knee-jerk reaction for Type at this point. Loved the friend, he told him off like Tharn should've a long time ago. Tharn kind of tolerates his homophobia (he didn't comment on the "Do you think I'll hang out with gays because I don't like women?" at all), and it's frustrating because he shouldn't have to. It's episode fucking seven and he still has this bigoted-ass mindset, even though he has a boyfriend. It's so weird. Also, I'm not really digging the casual "don't treat me like a girl" and "I'm not a girl" comments. Wtf is up with that? Treating him with respect and caring about him means that he's treating him like a girl? Idk, it's this type of misogyny I've seen on trashy BL novels and I don't like it.

They're a mess but a little bit better

I don't think Tharn should've been surprised by Type's interest in the girl - he's clearly into women, so why is it shocking that he's hitting on a girl? I do think that he should have spoken to Tharn before starting anything, and ended their sex pact or whatever they had going on so he could focus on the girl. But Tharn calling Type 'his bitch' was a low blow and completely out of pocket. Type has been very clear on not being gay since the beginning, it was Tharn who forced himself onto him and is now upset that his feelings haven't changed. This is not a straight dude that played you, you played yourself. The last scenes where they got together were cute. I'LL ADMIT IT. They were adorable. Let's see how long the peace lasts, though.

I'm so tired

Honestly, if Type weren't as handsome as he is, Tharn wouldn't be making such an effort to be with him. Their back and forth is exhausting to watch. They are so toxic for each other, I cannot ship this whatsoever. At least, not romantically. Not that they have a lot of chemistry otherwise. The actor playing Tharn could have chemistry with a brick wall if he wanted to - but from Type's end, it's nothing. Nada. The man is perpetually pissed off at the world and at the gays. He's also incredibly confusing - one minute he's leading Tharn on, buying him his favorite drink and kissing him, and the moment the other responds he cuts him off again?? Like fuck off. Make up your mind. "I still hate gays, but not Tharn"??? Is that supposed to be a good thing?? Like thank God, I would love to hear my hook-up dropping f-bombs and calling people like me slurs, because he doesn't do it to me :D How the hell??Secondly. Tharn is not entirely innocent either. He KNOWS Type is not ready to go out with a man, that he's only agreed to sleep with him casually. Yet he acts like his boyfriend in front of his friends, grabs his hand in public, and is overly affectionate, even when Type seems to dislike it every time. Also, why did they have to introduce the girl? I'm just. So tired of this. They are so messy. Istg Type better not hurt her, she looked like a nice person T-T

Y seguimos.

This was slightly more tolerable than the previous eps, but it still managed to irk me. Tharn treats Type like a princess when he's rightfully being called out for being homophobic, instead of also calling him out and educating him. I'm starting to think Tharn has some kind of suffering kink, with the way he keeps trying to help Type and tolerating his bigoted ass. "I know it's not your fault" it is though? He can't erase his trauma, but he can choose to be better and not commit a hate crime every time he comes near a queer person. He's so painfully unaware, and Tharn is definitely not helping. I would send him off to therapy and move to another room.I'm okay with the friends-with-benefits trope, but the fact that it is based on Type repaying Tharn for his help still doesn't sit right with me. The way he frames it, he isn't having sex with him because he wants to, but because he feels morally obliged to. Which is. Questionable. But anyway.

Whyyy

The two roommates continue to be my favorite characters (the koreaboo and the other one). The non-consensual touching is still a problem - can he not keep his hands to himself?? Can he not kiss his probably-still-homophobic roommate while he's sleeping??? I swear to God I was going to give Tharn a pass since it wasn't clear if he had actually touched Type or if the latter had dreamt it. But he WAS touching him, so idk what to think now.The frustrating part is, I would be OKAY with them if these things weren't in the series. The scenes where they're just bickering back and forth are entertaining and fun to watch. Type's mild gay panic every time Tharn flirts with him could be satisfying. I just hate how they dealt with their relationship. I think Type's past trauma makes everything really heavy and serious and it stunts his chemistry with Tharn in the present. I wouldn't have used SA as his reason for hating gay people, but rather something more shallow (maybe ignorance? Or just imitating people in his life? Idk) and easier to get over. A victim of SA from a gay man wouldn't be fantasizing about sex with another man he hated two days ago. I'm just saying. And about the two people that 'expose' Type for being homophobic, to that I say, he fucking deserved it. Yes, they were a little bit over-the-top, but you cannot just call people the f-word like that. I hope he sorts his shit out.

What the hell have I gotten myself into..

I'm hating Tharn rn. Idgaf that Type is the homophobic one, at least he isn't forcing himself onto others to the point of making them cry. Like, what the hell? Knowing that Type is a victim of child m*lestation, I'm disgusted by Tharn's actions this episode. Even if he isn't aware of Type's past, he should be able to see how distraught he is every time he touches him or comes close to him. Also, I don't understand why Type didn't take the opportunity to move the hell out the moment he got it. Is he dumb? Genuine question. PD. Tharn has no sense of self-preservation. Type's not some broken doll he can fix with the power of gay love. He should have RUN when he knew Type was homophobic.

Just. No.

I've been seeing this series everywhere and everyone was saying how toxic it was, so I decided to see for myself. I liked very few things about this episode: the poor woman that keeps being called 'auntie', the two roommates where one speaks korean all the time (they were so funny), and the initial tension between the main characters. However, they went the non-con/SA route, and that put me off entirely. How does kissing him while he's drunk prove that gay men are not rapists? You're literally giving him more reasons to hate you??? Idk. This was a mess.

Cute but still

Weren't they enemies half an episode ago?? How are they already best friends?? I was expecting their friendship to grow a little more organically, but well, I guess this is a thai series after all. A week ago they hated each other, and now Kanghan is telling Sailom all about his family drama? I don't know.. it feels kind of rushed. On the other hand, if you forget about everything Kanghan has done as a bully, their scenes together are super cute. The English made me cringe so hard (sorry T-T), but it was funny at the same time. Kanghan's yearning for his Dad's attention is so valid and extremely sad (still doesn't excuse the bullying - no, I'm not forgetting about that). If this wasn't a self-proclaimed enemies-to-lovers & bully/nerd series, I'd give this episode a 9. Just two friends being cute and hanging out. HOWEVER, it is exactly that, and therefore I expected to feel more conflicted about the characters, specially the bully. I wanted morally complex characters - also, I wanted to feel the inevitability of falling for someone, even if they're your enemy. I think that's one of the most interesting aspects of the enemies-to-lovers trope, and they didn't take advantage of it.

Better!

It's a significant improvement from the previous two episodes (thank God). They finally talked things out and confessed. The series is so good when they are together onscreen! They have nice banter, and their interactions feel (relatively) natural. I still think that things are going too slow, considering this was the second to last episode, and they've only kissed once. We'll get only one episode of them being a couple, which is disappointing, but I digress. There's also some scenes I don't get the point of, like that conversation between the two coworkers about the company. I didn't really understand it. It stalls the plot and takes away from the main couple. Decent episode overall, though.

Better but still boring

Why they insist on giving so much screentime to the side characters and office scenes with no substance at all, I still don't understand. The scenes are drawn-out, with repetitive dialogue and pointless interactions. I've finally decided to watch this series at 1.5x speed. The leads have great chemistry, so they are missing a lot of chances by having them interact so little. They act as if this is going to be a 24-episode-long series, but with only 8, we've barely seen them develop their relationship, and there's only two eps left. We got ONE kiss (which was 4 seconds long) at the last minute of the episode. I'm hoping next episodes they'll be in more scenes together. Also, Lee Jun's 'cuteness' is starting to piss me off. He looks like he has one single brain cell most of the time. The way he reacts to the three different men flirting with him is so calm and kind of frustrating. Like, isn't he supposed to like Choi Jun? Why is he not setting boundaries with the other two?

Hating the 'Enemies' in 'Enemies-to-lovers' rn

The bullying pissed me off so much - I get that they start off hating one another, however I wonder how in hell they plan to make the rich guy likeable. He's fatphobic, classist, and violent, so he better get his shit rocked real good in the next episodes if they want me to ship him with MC. I want to see a real character arc, not a full 180 that doesn't feel like the same character. However, I'm pleasantly surprised by this first episode. It has such a different vibe than the series GMMTV usually puts out, which are more cutesy and lighthearted. I like the acting, the chemistry and the fact that MC is fighting back against the bullying. I still think more drastic measures would be in order given the type of guy he's dealing with. A gun would be nice.(just kidding) (not really)

Well

It's still giving 'Dobby the house-elf' but at least we cleared up some of the misunderstandings (even though I don't get how he doesn't remember saying that about the sheets drying? Does he have amnesia or??)

Soul-crushing, honestly

I wish I could give this a 10. Objectively, it could be. However, it hurt so bad that I cannot give it more than what I already have. It was so painful and we almost got no moments between them (apart from the kiss on the cheek, which, looking back on it now, it freaking hurts). The cousin can burn in hell. I hope we get a season two. I'm depressed now - that's all.

I'm scared

This episode was too cute knowing what happens in the end. My anxiety is kind of skyrocketing. I enjoyed their moments together, as always, even though I'm still frustrated that they keep CUTTING AWAY when anything remotely romantic looks like is about to happen. I'm so MAD. The ending of this ep has me so stressed for Su Yu's life honestly.
