7.3 rating? This is a 5 at max and that’s me being nice. Worst I seen in years. I don’t get how is 7.3 when…
Maybe it's still 7.3 because most people that didn't like it dropped it or put in on hold, so they didn't rate it. At least I don't rate shows that I didn't finish watching. But yes, this is still a high rating. For me above 7 is still something worth trying to watch, and this drama isn't.

I wonder if we would ever see Tae Oh’s stepdad again? Is he biological or step father?
I think the stepfather might appear again cuz I think his mom will die later on. Even so, it was a waste of such a good actor. He does the creepy, terrifying father role so well, as he showed in Flower of Evil.

Cause the chemistry between Choi Hee Jin and Lee Jae Wook in just a few scenes is crackling.
Exactly! Just compare Tae Oh's flashbacks of Hyewon with Hee Joo's flashbacks of Tae Oh, you feel nothing in the former and everything in the latter. And it's even funnier that Tae Oh and Hee Joo have nicer moments to remember than the other couple.

She far better than HW
Since the last episodes that Tae Oh became dumb because of his "love" for Hyewon, I see an increasing number of people that don't want Hee Joo to end up with Tae Oh (including me), unless a major twist happens. They just want her to have a happy ending, and the three leads destroyed.

I am always wondering from start that what if han tae ho is Kang tae hoWhat if han tae ho is kang hui ju brother…
If he's a Kang, the show should have given some more clues, since we're already 4 episodes away from the end. But since the writing is so bad it's possible that the drama might pull this card.

I was like 'yeah sure! he aint giving it to his sons and he will give it to her?' better chances if she seduces…
lol that would have been more interesting! If she's sucha a gold digger, she should've gone straight to the person who actually has money/power.

this kdrama is all wrong
Sadly, you're probably right. For me, Huiju is the character that has been developed the best/most consistent, but, considering this interview, that was probably an accident (and the actress skills) and the production didn't even see the potential of her character. That's why she isn't in any promotion/preview. I still think she'll have some importance to the plot, but maybe not the way I wanted (rather than helping Tae Oh, maybe her antagonism against fl will increase).

If the translation of this interview is correct, it’s clear that what the director thinks his drama is showing is very different from what has been shown so far.

On The Impossible Heir Mar 19, 2024
Does anyone know if this site https://kavenyou.com/director-intervew-the-impossible-heir/ is reliable? It has an interview with the director, and he said this about the most hated fl in the history of dramaland: "she’s also someone you can’t hate because she’s pretty, strong and down-to-earth. I hope the viewers will relate to Hyewon and her choices as the story progresses.". If he really thinks she's likeable, I've been watching a different show and it's time to let go.

É inacreditável que esse drama esteja recebendo uma nota baixa só por causa da FL. Ela teve até o momento…
Não é só por causa da fl. A edição é estranha, a trama não flui bem, e, principalmente, os protagonistas são mal desenvolvidos.

I guess Tae Oh and Hye Won could be redeemed with the audience if the others turned out bad, but realistically…
Yeah, it’s weird how he accepted their marriage so easily when these relationships are all business deals for families like the Kangs.

Maturity has nothing to do with it. Not everybody cares about cheating or revenge of betrayal
And it can be entertaining to watch horrible people if they are written well. For instance, Su Min in Marry My Husband was awful, but very well developed and played by a great actor, so everybody enjoyed her scenes. On the other had, Yu Ra was awful too, but badly written and played by a mediocre actor, so she ruined Marry My Husband. Right now the leads of The Impossible Heir are more like Yu Ra, but mls are being saved cuz they're great actors.

I have been worried about this ever since Huijiu said that she will marry Taeoh whatever the way. I love her character…
Honestly at his point I wouldn't mind Tae Oh and Hye Won ending up together if Hee Joo is the one that ends up being the ruler of Kangoh. I wanted Hee Joo to have a happy ending, but I'll accept as ending that she gets everything that the three leads wanted.

I keep saying in Facebook groups how the writer solution to make the leads looks good is to make In ha and his…
I guess Tae Oh and Hye Won could be redeemed with the audience if the others turned out bad, but realistically they can't never be together if they want to end up ruling Kangoh. unless they stay in a hidden relationship forever. High society is about reputation and they would never accept that someone like Tae Oh robs Kangoh and a wife from the Kang family. He'd be branded as a cheater and untrustworthy, even if all the Kangs are awful, and no one would respect him. So I don't expect a happy ending for either of the three leads, but I think Tae Oh only has two possible endings: being with Hye Won and giving up Kangoh or being the impossible heir of Kangoh and giving up Hey Won.

Only with a few clips and some comments here I ask myself: Why would anybody want to watch this drama?
At this point, I'm watching it just out of curiosity for what's gonna happen even if nothing really makes sense.

TO wants to protect his mom. he faked her death and put his father in jail. There has never been mention if he…
But his stepfather is in jail, there's no way to get directly revenge against him, unless he wants to kill him.

I don’t think protecting his mom is reason enough for him to be willing to be someone’s dog for 10 years (and then making a stupid move that could ruin everything). He’s intelligent enough to be able to be successful on his own and have saved enough money so he and his mom can live in peace, maybe going abroad. There has to be another motivation for his trajectory to make sense.

Yeah, some ppl think he's kissing hyewon to spite Inha, which is very much possible haha
Yeah, I hope we will get to see her life beside Tae Oh, like her work, cuz apparently she's a director of Kangoh Mart (it was in Tae Oh's character chart).
