😭😭 I'm also questioning their love for Siwat, that can't be love. I REBUKE it
Okay, now I get it why it's called cursed love. The kind of love that Khunkhao and Thara had for Siwat—that's what they call cursed love, or maybe abhorrent love, or maybe disgusting love, whatever it is, it's definitely one of those. But whatever it is, it's truly terrible.
The ending of the story would have been acceptable if Surya/Siwat had not returned
Yes, you are right. After Siwat's death, they would finish shopping at 7-Eleven and return home. After three months, they would repeatedly order and eat food using the Line App. And they would place a tube of sweetened condensed milk as an offering beneath Siwat's photo. That's it, the drama ends. 🤣🤣🤣
I pray to God that no evil eye falls upon Ongsa, that he stays healthy, that he remains just as beautiful, that he acts in more good BL dramas, and that he achieves much success in life. 🧿
Man, I don't even know where to start.I enjoyed this drama - except the last episode.Ongsa is a great actor and…
Ongsa's beauty is immeasurable. I pray to God that no evil eye falls upon him. But the props used for Lost City are even lower quality than my six-year-old cousin's toys. 🥲
Cousins. Not brothers. And i guess its cursed because they dont end up happy in any timeline. 😂
Thanks for correcting, but I know they are cousins. I wrote 'brothers' because, actually, for me/us, cousins are just like siblings.
And not getting a happy ending is not a curse, it is merely their misfortune.
What more can I say? After watching the final episode, I was absolutely furious, disappointed, and I laughed hysterically. 😵💫😵💫🤣🤣 The people working behind the camera on this drama should stop working.
Two things in this drama progressed and worked excellently, disregarding the constraints of the screenwriters and director. And those two things are Ongsa's beauty and Marisa's wickedness. Marisa truly acted very well.
And that pony-tailed bro's death scene and his last words were the joke of the century. It would have been better for him to die silently than to say such a line while dying.
In the final scene, when KhunKhao asked that lookalike of Siwat to give him his hand, I thought, if he extended his hand, would KhunKhao hand him that tube of sweetened condensed milk? Well, I am surprised that he didn't end up doing that. 🤣🤣🤣
But there is no curse on love in this drama. In the previous life, all three in the love triangle died, and in this life, the person the two brothers loved dies. At best, this can be called unfortunate love, not cursed. Because a curse is given by someone, and I haven't seen anyone curse their love. So, who cursed their love? Surely the screenwriters and the director. The screenwriters and director should be banned from the industry for at least five years for ruining this drama in such a way. It would be best if the screenwriters voluntarily retired.
It's so bad, so bad, I don't know what to say. My heart wants to rate the drama in the minus, but just looking at Ongsa, I'll give the drama an 8. First of all, the 10-episode drama suddenly became an 8-episode one. Anyway, I thought even with fewer episodes, the drama would be decent; it was somewhat bearable up to episode 7, but the 8th and final episode was absolutely awful. I wasn't asking for a Happy Ending, but couldn't the Sad Ending have been done properly? I'd call this a horribly ridiculous ending. I mean, your beloved person is sacrificing themselves, and your reaction is that?
If the rumored budget for the drama is true, then money must have been misappropriated here. The death of every single character was shown ridiculously. What is the very first scene three months after the death of the main character and a few others? Ordering food on the Line App? I mean, how do such ideas even come to mind? In the end, Khunkhao says he will remember Siwat forever, which I thought meant he'd cherish Siwat forever. But, oh God! It's not that. As soon as Siwat's lookalike appears, it's as if the two brothers got their favourite toy back. The final scene seemed to imply a message that the two brothers will continue fighting over this new lookalike. Did anyone actually love Siwat? I don't think so; in fact, the parasocial relationship we have with our Ongsa is much better. And surely, no one can be born and become 20 years old in three months. Therefore, it is impossible for Siwat to be reincarnated in three months.
Anyway, the doubt that remains about the drama's budget points to only one thing. And that thing is, I've heard that quite a few wealthy individuals invest money in films or series to launder their black money, and they whiten the black money by showing a bill for more expenses than what was actually spent. So, even if the drama or film flops, their objective is fulfilled. I don't know what happened here, and it's not right to blame anyone without knowing. However, seeing the deplorable state of this drama and such a rumored budget does raise suspicion in my mind.
Finally, all I want is for Ongsa and Thakhi to do even better BL dramas in the future. I wish they would get more opportunities, and I would be even happier if I could see them as a couple in a good BL series.
"Because of Namping, Khemjira is immortal now ❤️"The way NP brought the character to life was incredible.…
Obviously, you're right. Now, I only want Namping to be healthy and happy, especially his mental well-being, which is more important. Alongside this, I want to see him in new and different roles so that extraordinary works are added to his career.

Although the character Khemjira had a presence throughout the entire series, his activity was low. The way Namping brought out the beauty of his character, without doing much, is truly extraordinary. The dialogue and actions of his character were entirely bound by the writer and director. He was up against actors like Keng, who is a social media sensation, and Green, a veteran actress.
Despite all this, taking on this role was a very courageous step for Namping, and I hope this genuine courage takes him far. Many people failed to understand the sorrow of the Khemjira character. He did not act despicably/lowly to survive, he didn't act crazy, he held no hatred in his heart for anyone, and he didn't try to appear overly good.
When all those boys and girls were ignoring a woman's domestic violence, Khemjira raised his voice in support of that woman, disregarding any threats. And by helping that child, he helped a soul, even though terrifying spirits had poisoned his life since childhood. Furthermore, he was subjected to terrible bullying since childhood just because of his name, Khemjira—Jet wasn't always by his side.
After all this, why wouldn't people love such a character? Could we, after going through so many storms and hardships in life, become so kind, calm, and patient? I am astonished to think about how heartless those people are in real life who still hate the Khemjira character.
Anyway, a big thank you to Domundi for working with such a risky plot.
I finished watching the series "That Summer" yesterday. Many actors performed well in it, but the story felt very ordinary. Throughout the drama, I never worried for any character, their joys and sorrows didn't make me think much, and the story was quite predictable. However, the series is not bad overall.
This is where it becomes clear that most in the BL industry are afraid to take risks; they want to earn good money with a simple story and a popular 'Ship.' In that context, Domundi's risk-taking with "The Next Prince" and "Khemjira" is truly commendable.

Lately, revenge-themed stories are quite popular in Korean and Chinese dramas, where the main plot revolves around revenge with a touch of romance—this is exactly the case with 'Khemjira.' The only difference here is that the theme is Curse Breaking instead of revenge, and this theme resonates primarily with people in South Asia and Southeast Asia. You don't find this extent of folktales, dramas, and movies about curses anywhere else.
Because of this, many viewers struggled quite a bit to understand the drama. And the person under the curse is often as helpless as the character Khemjira, so it's a necessity for the story that the Khemjira character is a bit timid and weak.
The other factor is the unique name trope. In this kind of storyline, the main character has very little to do. For example, there was a very popular writer in my country whose main character in a well-known/much-discussed novel only arrives almost at the very end of the story. Meaning, out of three or four main characters, their role is minimal, yet they are still the central character, and the novel is named after them. Many people initially failed to grasp the charm and beauty of this type of drama—and even now, some still don't get it. They keep complaining, much like the critics of Khemjira, asking why the novel is so popular.
The fact that Domundi created a BL with such an extraordinary concept is truly commendable. There's even doubt whether they can produce something this good, or better, in the future.

The backdrop of these three dramas—"Khemjira", "Manner of Death", and "Euthanasia"—is BL. This means these dramas are not merely the fertile imaginations of teenage girls, where the entire plot is solely wrapped up in love and romance. Here, extraordinary stories have been constructed upon a BL backdrop, which gives the dramas a touch of reality. The dramas were filmed in beautiful areas of Thailand.
Typical BLs generally follow three stages: love in school, then love in university, and finally love in the office. No matter the story, they usually film within a classroom, educational institute, school/university campus, or a luxurious apartment complex or resort; they don't often go outside much. However, some dramas like "Lost in the woods", "The Sign", and "The Cursed Love" have been shot in very beautiful locations.
Anyway, BL dramas have all kinds of audiences. Some prefer to watch beautiful stories with a BL backdrop, while others prefer the lovey-dovey BL. It is mainly those who prefer the lovey-dovey BL who are criticizing "Khemjira". Yet, they cannot avoid these dramas, which speaks to their success.
I, personally, like to watch all kinds of BLs. For example, I am currently watching two ongoing lovey-dovey BLs: one is the Japanese BL "School Trip: Joined a Group I'm Not Close To" and the other is the Korean BL "Peach Trap". Dramas like "Khemjira", "Manner of Death", and "Euthanasia" will also be liked by those who enjoy Chinese censored BLs.
Namping won me over. I can't get over Khem. I wanted to hug him all the time.
Although my heart wants to see him in a BL drama like 'Revenged Love' (the way the drama avoided censorship and was released internationally, except in China). But right now, his return to work and acting in a main role is enough for me. Such a Big and Cute guy should not be wasted.
And not getting a happy ending is not a curse, it is merely their misfortune.
