I'm not sure. Since the body of naksu was found dead, it makes one thing clear that the soul is not burned. Maybe the soul is still in mu deok yi's body, maybe the blind mu deok yi had the capacity to hold souls, like a vessel maybe.

I wondered that too but, maybe he wanted to gain trust of king. Might be planning something big, maybe he just saw naksu as a pawn. I assume that since soul shifting comes with a price if the siul runs wild it becomes stone and it's quite risky as soul shifter if found or caught will be executed.

Maybe it's possible for her to live, historical dramas always scare me. It can have a possible sad ending but let's hope that does not happen.
