It refers to the day when gwan-sik and ae-sun both helped the lady who boarded the same hotel/lodge as theirs. They warned her that led to her not getting robbed. She got a turn to repay them through guem-myeong as she recognized her with her resembling ae-sun.
So the lady that they helped is the maid working at the tutor's house.
Every episode is so full of emotions that it makes me cry, makes me feel shit. I feel so vulnerable it hits home, this is too dang good. This is by far the most I've cried over a series.
