sometimes i like this drama, sometimes im not. i have confused emotions on this one. might be because i've been…
I think the childhood subplot played an important role in this one. Moon Young witnessed that scene in the river when they were children and that's why she kept calling Kang Tae hypocrite. The flashback in episode 10 made me realize that. And when she witnessed Sang Tae's meltdown, she was the only one who knew the truth but she could only cry for Kang Tae. She told Kang Tae that it was not his fault. I think it made a compelling and heartbreaking scene in episode 10.
As for the healing, I do think they started their healing in the previous episodes, although they still have a long way to go. Moon Young let go of her leash by cutting her hair. Kang Tae started smiling more and when he got suspended, he felt finally free. I think that's why he took the risk to start the romance because he is only human. He got a taste of what it was like to be free and wanted to do what he wants. But since they still haven't fully escaped their traumas, it was premature and somehow doomed to fail so it didn't last long. Maybe, when they finally resolve their issues, they will find their way back to each other.
As for the writing, I like how it gave us a balance between comedy and drama. I honestly don't like to watch dramas that are too serious. It bores me. I think this one comes down to preference.
As for the OST, I watched CLOY and a bit of HDL but it didn't cross my mind. I couldn't even remember any songs in CLOY. There will always be songs that have similar feels. To me, if it fits the mood, it serves the purpose. I personally don't listen to the OST in streaming sites, except for ones I really liked (DOTS and now this one). So this one also comes down to preference. I appreciate how this drama has a lot of English songs though.
I have this crazy theory. Remember the dinosaur story between the Head Nurse and Sang- tae? What if the mother…
Hmmm, that first one is interesting. I really don't want Park Ok Ran to be the mom. T_T IDK but I always thought that theory was crazy but now it might be true. Haha.
this conversation about being able to like people in different ways and it not being a hierarchy is the conversation…
Yes, I really wish Sang Tae heard that. I hope he will be able to understand that you can love a lot of people, not just one. That doesn't make their love for you less.
Oh my beautiful moon young happy birthday and i wish you happiness always. I freaking love her so much and i was…
I was kinda mad at him too for hurting moon young but I also understand him. It's hard. He must be thinking that everything will be okay if he just went back to how things were. :(( Sigh, I just want happiness for all of them. After all the suffering they went through, they deserve a happy ending.
I just finished the episode and honestly, I cried so much. There were so many scenes that broke my heart and I don't even know where to begin. But the ending was exciting and the teaser made me feel hopeful so I'm so excited for next week!!!
Okay, I didn't realize it was him in Rurouni Kenshin. T_T I fell in love with him there first. Haha. Anyone who…
Thank you for the recommendations. Saw the Rurouni Kenshin trilogy and I'm planning to watch 8th Year Engagement. I will also check that other one. :))
QUIZ: Which “It’s Okay To Not Be Okay” Character Are You?https://www.soompi.com/article/1410519wpp/quiz-which-its-okay-to-not-be-okay-character-are-you
Since idk how to talk about this ep I'll just talk about how much I love Ju Ri now like I genuinely love her character…
Same here. I didn’t like her in the previous episodes but now I do after this one. She’s just human like all of us. Like what the hospital director said, we all both have good and evil inside us.
