Iβd be interested to look up archived Ave x reviews of Yu Ningβs performances.
So it has crossed my mind she likes YSX, but LYN was obvious. I found her review of POB really conflicting because she couldn't bring herself to rant about it the way she normally does. She sneers at other actors, certain ones she hates the most, and makes snarky remarks about them and their dramas.
I have just seen avenue x review of the drama and her view pretty much aligns with the crowd who dropped the show…
Have you noticed too that AX is smitten by LYN? She says only good things about him. She turns his negatives into positives by defending him. Things she turned into negative for other actors, she turns into positives for him. Even when she thinks his drama is only watchable, she will watch all of it. Even when she has no positive, she will say no negative. She never nitpicks at him or his dramas but does so with other dramas. If she had this same attitude toward other dramas, her channel would be watchable. She always reminds people a certain actress was supposed to be the most beautiful for her character but is not, so it doesn't work for her. Then in a LYN drama, she said that actress is so beautiful the way it should be, but I don't think she's prettier than the other actress.
Douban cannot wait to rate this drama low even before the drama finishes airing or Weibo gives its rating πI…
I noticed Douban is now waiting for dramas to finish or even a week later if there are what they call "water armies" flooding the ratings. They used to come out mid-way, that's why it was called "Opening Douban."
Its chinese MDL but better because the ratings here are manipulated A LOT but on douban, its mostly fair ratings…
There are no ratings you should trust. The only thing to trust is yourself. When I was following Feud on Douban, it was wild, it started off with massive amount of 1 ratings the first week follow by massive amount of 5 ratings the last 2 weeks and even after that, and the 5 ratings were anywhere from 50% to 90% AI generated comments. Eventually, weeks later, it became more normal. So, it took Douban like almost 2 weeks after the drama finished to come out with a score. So, who knows how well they did figure which 1's are real and which 5's are real.
