It sure does seem like Xu Kai dramas take a bit longer to air. I just happened come across YT video discussing SAHPH (2022) how that got postpone from Oct to Nov that year. ABAY last year too was postponed at least a month. Both were huge success.

it's a fantasy, they can make anything up, you just go with the flow

Using VA is actually cost effective.

Hua Ru Yue might be one of the top female characters of the year. I love me a girl who is treading the villain…
To me, HRY isn’t a villain because she’s not acting with malicious intent. She's what they call an anti-hero because her vengeance is driven by personal trauma, not cruelty or selfish gain. Her arc leans toward heroism, not villainy.

Oh maybe the reason he said it was "Impossible" is that he had taken precautions?" because why the reaction is like that.

lament = a passionate expression of griefriver = I’m thinking BJS, as he’s the ice/water god
but there's no lament in the Chinese characters 临江仙. The literal translation is Linjiang Immortal. The meaning of 临江仙 cannot be translated into English words. You can only fully understand it I supposed if you understand Chinese classical poetry.

River Immortal = Hua Ruyue, so basically her lament is to make BJ pay for the wrong he's done to her.
the Chinese name for this drama river could be metaphor in Chinese poetry representing the passage of time because rivers are constantly flowing. But for English name, they decided to brand it Feud.

Everyone hates him now, but the story hasn't revealed everything, which is why they will reconcile once it does. For this to have a happy ending, he didn't kill their child, or he was not at fault somehow.

No she has other outfits in the closing scene after episode end
This was not much of a role for her. It's really a supporting role.

the douban ratings and comments seems to have turned the tide in a more positive direction since yesterday. I think because the drama is coming to its climax or pivotal point in the story. People seem to want her to kill him because he is unforgivable. He abandoned her never even check on her.

I like this drama but I feel bad for the one with the mask, Luo Huan 😩 I wanted him to live and stay with Yue…
yeah at least in ALP, I think Qing Mu and Houchi essences were absorbed by Bai Jue and Shanggu but here Bian Luo Huan ... worse than death, and Xu Kai's poignant expressions nailed his melancholy fate. You can't help but be moved by Bian Luo Huan, the resignation, regret, sorrow, and quiet devastation.

I just finished my first Xianxia drama, Love Between Fairy and Devil, and I really enjoyed and love it so much.…
While it does have an innocent romance that is pure, heartfelt, and emotionally driven, it’s not a typical idol romance drama with heavy physical intimacy or overly dramatic conflicts. The characters are teenagers, and their relationship carries a childhood sweethearts-like dynamic, built on deep emotional connections, mutual respect, and subtle romantic gestures rather than passionate or intense romantic tropes. While there is a kiss or two, the romance focuses more on growing together than grand romantic displays. Yue Qi, despite technically being three years old in life experience, has a childlike innocence that adds to the story’s youthful and tender tone. Their chemistry is truly charming—heartwarming, delightfully pure, sweet, and endearing until the very end. Oh wait, I only focused on Qi and Jinzhao. there are also different dynamics between Qi and Bian Luohuan. It's complicated.

That depends on what you're watching this drama for. Is it for romance or for plot/ characters. Do you like drama…
The story is non-linear, and Bian Luo Huan is at the core of its time-space dilemma, making him an essential part of the narrative.
