Why did the XFF marry SYR and become part of his awful family?

When Wanning asked SYR to accept their baby and marry her make it legit and official, he could have maybe stopped her from more destruction. It sounded like she was willing to give up everything for him. But he wanted to remain neutral until the power struggle between the emperor and that King is over so he can decide which side he wants to be on. Also, he was smart, he knew she was not pregnant since he suspected foul play. He was always playing both sides for his benefit. He got this far in life by using women. He only pushed her further off the edge of sanity if she wasn't already insane enough. SYR has always known the psycho is capable of and used her. They both used each other and tried to control each other depending on who has the advantage, but the Princess had no idea SYR was pretending, so SYR actually always had the upper hand, just bidding his time with her. She thought she was in control of him but actually he was the one playing her.

XFF poor decision to marry SYR resulted in tragedy for her family. I wonder why she chose to marry him. Who you marry can ruin your life. Fortunately, she has a second chance for happiness with the Duke.

SYR knew the Princess was a psycho, everyone avoided her or afraid of her, but SYR chose to network with her for his benefit. The Princess said that she became interested in SYR because he paid attention to her. Now we know her past, what ounce of interest or flirting SYR gave the Princess lured her to him.

No sane person would endorse her actions but tragedy turned her into a psycho. Everyone has different tolerance level. Some come out stronger because of a good person in their life while others repeat cycle of abuse. She must have never been loved or had any loving relationships only abusive ones. SYR should have stayed away from her.

that's what I originally thought but now I think SYR was always plotting even before he met the Princess or his wife, He's obsessed and ambitious. He got his wife to give up her precious possessions to help him and he got the Princess to help him get rid of his wife.

It's the director's style turned WXY into a "male God". This director likes his strong male leads to show some skin and muscles. Actually, WXY's face has some softness to it that makes his hard looking features not so ominous. He has a smile that is sweet and friendly that also lightens up his face. He is afterall only 22. He was perfectly cast for this role.

I think XFF's husband, SYR used the Princess to get rid of his wife and family. Her revenge should be with her husband to be justified. She thought it was the Princess because her husband said it was the Princess as he was burying her alive.

She was tortured so that's all she knows is torture. The Princess lacked warmth and love in her miserable life. SYR could have stopped her, but he did not. He basically led her on. He lied when he says it's the Princess not him. I thought the Princess created a Frankenstein SYR but it turned out, SYR was already a monster. SYR is a coward. He could have divorced his wife if he wanted to climb the ladder with the Princess but he chose to play the long game waiting to see who will ultimately be in power so he can align with them. Basically, the Princess was used by everyone. They all knew she was capable of being sadistic and kill and torture so she became their pawn.

XFF should take revenge on SYR and not Princess W. SYR seduced Princess W., fooled her, endured her mistreatment, patiently waiting when he will have the advantage over her. He lied to himself, to his wife and family that he had to kill XFF and her family because of Princess W. He used the Princess to conveniently get rid of his wife now that he has seduced the Princess successfully. At least XFF still has her father and brother and Duke and later on a daughter. Princess W. life is truly sad and the most tragic figure of this drama.
