Title Blossom
Dropped at episode 27. Too boring. First 17 episodes all politics. 18 to 25 with more romance. Now back to mostly…
Isn't it the case with most historical dramas?

Title Light of My Lion Spoiler
It was a decent drama - I'd give it an ok+.The premise was a bit odd, though.
1. The first thing the 1ML should’ve done was go to the police and report the missing child - even if he suspected the boy might be his nephew.

2. The idea of faking a death and running away could have worked... if they’d actually fled to a faraway place where no one could recognize them. Leaving the child with her brother? That was just a bad call.

3. When you're up against someone powerful, the smart move is to involve someone with equal or greater influence. Instead of hiding from the press, they should’ve worked with them to expose the abusive husband, shift public opinion, and strip him of his power.

4. For most of the drama, the plot revolves around saving Lion. But once that storyline wraps up, the focus suddenly shifts to other things - like the relationship between the brothers.
Sure, it makes sense from a narrative standpoint (deal with the biggest crisis first), but it felt like the sibling relationship and the 1ML’s personal journey were underdeveloped, especially since they became the central theme in the final episode.

I was genuinely surprised when the main plot wrapped up halfway through episode 10. I thought, “Wait, that’s it? What’s left now?”
There were definitely a few side plots that needed to be tied up, but they could’ve been handled in about 10 minutes. That said, I did appreciate the way things settled down at the end - it gave the story a nice cooldown. 😉

Title Hello, Love, Again Spoiler
"Well, gentlemen, when the shit hits the fan, some guys run and some guys stay."
👆 That's actually a spoiler, because it turns out the ML couldn't really handle shit - literally - and then there was COVID and all that...

MAJOR SPOILER BELOW

...and then there's that thing the ML did after he got back to Hong Kong.
When it was revealed that the main leads weren't together anymore, I thought, "Okay, what the hell did he do? Did he cheat on her?" - but honestly, I didn't want to believe he'd actually go there.
Then it was shown that he did cheat, and I completely lost all respect for him.
I was also pretty disappointed in the FL for even considering getting back with him. (To be honest, I already rolled my eyes when she decided to help him with his permanent residency.)
In my rule book, cheating = the end of the relationship, burn all bridges, block all contact, and move on. Period.

Honestly, when FL decided to go back at the end, I half-expected her to catch ML banging that "Baby" girl (or whatever her name was).
It didn’t happen - but hey, if they ever make a third movie, that option’s always on the table. 😑

By the way, the only character I had even a tiny bit of sympathy for in this movie was the sidekick - Uno.
He was clearly hoping for something more with the FL, and it felt like she kinda used him.
Then again, even if she did, it’s his own fault for staying stuck in the friend zone. 😉

The story was interesting, and the acting was good - though the kissing scenes were a bit underwhelming.
The production quality was solid too, aside from that one jump scene at the end, which honestly looked hilarious.
I was expecting a different ending, but oh well, it is what it is.

Title I Love Lizzy Spoiler
You might enjoy this movie if you're Catholic. If you're not religious, you probably won’t.It's hard to criticize…
Leaving religion aside, the ML’s decision might seem:
1. Unfair – He should've at least contacted the FL and told her he wasn’t coming back, so she could move on without blaming herself.
2. Stupid – From a non-believer's perspective, the ML made a life-changing decision completely on his own, based only on his personal beliefs.
3. Risky – People are human, and given their close history, there’s a real chance they could fall into temptation later if life gets hard (I personally know few cases like that involving priests I met).

That being said people are free to make their own decisions. If you take faith into consideration ML's decision seems honourable and aligned with his faith. I still think he should've informed her about it sooner - but maybe I'm wrong. I guess God only knows what's good for us in the end.

You might enjoy this movie if you're Catholic. If you're not religious, you probably won’t.

It's hard to criticize a film like this because of its religious theme - it’s easy to accidentally hurt someone’s feelings.
But let’s give it a shot anyway. 😁

This isn’t your typical fluffy romantic comedy. It starts off like one, but as soon as you see a shot of puke, you should realize something’s different. 😉
The story gets more serious in the second half of the movie, especially when it dives into the topic of alcoholism - which might be surprising if you're used to K-dramas, where drinking is often shown as something light and fun.

On a lighter note:
I loved the scene where the ML gave the FL a piggyback ride and she peed on him — I’d love to see something like that in a K-drama! 😂

Unpopular opinion about the ending:
