She still has to become Ru Yue even though she's Qing Yue.
reveal what plans? they didn't need that scene because if they were both in the know of each others plans then that scene is redundant. whats the point of showing her the past in the mirror if she already knows her past and ling er knows that she knows her past? that's a plot hole. at this point you're just a homer that defends everything and anything with no logic of your own.

that whole scene with ling er and the mirror was pretty meaningless because if they were both in on it then who's the audience that they're putting on the show for?
they left me blue balled at the fight just to do flashbacks for a gazillion episodes. my biggest complaint is…
How? they explain their backstory from the very beginning and then it's one linear timeline from there. It's definitely a lot easier on the brains. Even Bai Lu herself said during these mortal realm episodes there are costume differences between past mortal world and current mortal world but if you're not careful you might mix them up. You put the flashbacks in the beginning and that solves that right away.

No, IMO this would seriously be a lot easier if they started with the mortal world flashbacks and then follow it up with her pretending which leads up to the fight and it just continues from there.

I get that but I want to know the aftermath of the fight, not watch a million episodes of their past. I just feel like this drama would be easier to consume if they just rearrange the timeline better. it feels like it's all over the place.
Ok I'm 14 episodes in and I'm still unsure of where this plot is heading. Romance is non-existent in the last…
they left me blue balled at the fight just to do flashbacks for a gazillion episodes. my biggest complaint is the non linear episodes. even when you're watching at present you see the young servant turn old in a blink of an eye. it's way to jumpy and the time jumps are too frequent.
yes because while you might not like this drama, others like it π
i know how you feel as a recent legend of zang hai enjoyer. can't say anything that isn't 100% glazing without some weirdo taking it as some sort of attack.
is the FL like part of the rich elite in China or something? I just checked her dramas that she's been in and she's getting main roles right out the gate.
1. The 3 masters were allies, but still, they donβt trust each other. Why? And it seems like CJX and ZB trusted…
the shifu giving him food to make him pass out was definitely some plot armor shit. that was not in his plans or calculated by ZH himself so if the shifu didn't do that he would've died and his revenge was over.
there were also many times throughout the entire series where ZH gets himself in a sticky situation and i'm thinking this was all in his plans, but turns out, it wasn't in his plans he really fucked up LOLOL.
Ep.32 she died for nothing? That old geezer is still alive, and they took the seal tooπ΅βπ«π΅βπ«π΅βπ«π΅βπ«π΅βπ«π΅βπ«π΅βπ«…
emperor is the third guy and also the masked manif not the mask guy is minister of revenue and hes working for…
there were posters released a few days ago with ZH facing a bunch of different characters and my theory is the ones he was bowing to were his allies and the ones where he looks like he's clashing with are the bad ones. so far it seems correct with the dongxia queen, but he's also bowing to the king so i think the king is an ally. the third person seems to be 8th princes dad.
