Title Till the End of the Moon Spoiler
1.Original novel ending??2.How Mainleads had Son???3.When FL Started to like ML???
1. Novel had two endings. First ending at the tombs. The epilogue was set 1,000 years later. Li Susu never gives up hope that he will return one day and continues to search for him. She and their daughter Tantai Zimi eventually find him reincarnated in the mortal realm. Part of his soul was salvaged and this allowed him to be reborn. The family is reunited and they return home together. Drama just had the first part of this epilogue but hinted and left it open for the rest.

2. How did the main leads have a daughter? They had sex. Lol. The old fashioned way... with a slight twist. In episode 39 ML created a false world of ye mansion for them to step into. Where they proceeded to have one last night together. The world around them was constructed by TTJ but as far as their bodies go, it was real. (Or real enough to conceive a child)

3. Tough one to answer as it wasn't one specific moment where she started to like him. It happened gradually without her even realising it. There was a spark of something building from quite early on. (Episode 4-9 showcased this the most) But as far as really falling in love, it was probably after they came out of the dream arc (episode 18-28) and they spent time together in Jing Kingdom where he was emperor. The "act" became real. She loved and hated him at the same time.

Title Till the End of the Moon Spoiler
It's an open ending. So its sad but also hopeful. Do you want more details?
Haha no problem. Sometimes its good to have an idea ahead of time. Basically one of them does die - it's a sacrifice to save the world kind of deal. It's obviuously very sad. The finale scene shows that part of this characters soul or essence has been saved by an object that has been prevalent throughout the whole drama. Leaving it up to the audience to decide what happens next. Some may see it as a full BE if they prefer But it also hints at the possibility of a rebirth and reunion one day. (Which actually does happen in the novel. So they hint at the novel's epilogue but dont complete it.)

Hopefully this wasnt too many spoilers for you. 😅

It's worth it though imo. The drama is too good. But i get that this kind of ending isn't going to be for everyone

In addition to Micha's comment, Jize said that he knew Ye Xiwu because he had seen through time and saw Li Susu's…
There is not one set moment that she fell in love with him. It happened gradually and it happened without her even realising it. I would say she started feeling something as far back as their time in ye mansion but according to the actress (Bai Lu) she fell in love during jing kingdom arc. Without a doubt she was in love with him by the time of the water festival
The "act" became real. She often lied about her feelings. When she tells him she never loved him while using the soul slaying nails Etc.. well that was a blatant lie. (Again confirmed by Bai Lu)

she loved him and hated him ( just as he loved and hated her too.) But despite these feelings she was never going to be able to stop her mission in killing him. Not when the fate of the entire world rested on that decision. She could not take that risk. Which is why it is so tragic.

A very conflicted messy love between them. But one that, by the end of the final episode, had reached a place of understanding. It was no longer conflicted anymore.

And if you lean towards the more optimistic side of the open ending, a love that might have a chance to start over properly when he is eventually reborn now that they are free from the baggage of the devil god.

It's short length series, episode 1 is of almost 10 mins 😂❤️
That's kind of disappointing im not going to lie. But at least we will have less filler 😂 The first 4 episodes are on youku but might wait for more episodes before I start watching though. I'll speed through them.

Oh for crying out loud 🙄 That is so petty. I agree, they better not take down the other actors content.
Right! I actually think it's pretty cool seeing them all take part in something together. Don't see what there is to complain about. Other than jealousy that the limelight is being shared?

Which is so silly, as each of these guys are doing quite well in their respective careers anyway.

Yeah, It's so painful (in a delicious way. we're all masochists)

I think for Li Susu, any darkness she perceives in him as a person, is a direct result of the evil bone. In her mind, as he was born with it, it's connected. and it's influencing him from the get go. She definitely knows there's still good in him (she's seen and felt it) but whenever she's reminded of this darkness he has, (whether irrational or not), She feels that it's too late and the evil bone has already corrupted him too much as a person. (resulting in a loss of faith) It's very sad, because obviously, this isn't his fault.

I think there's a part of her that also lies to herself about certain things (Bai Lu has talked about this in interviews) including her own feelings. She tries to separate herself from him on an emotional level (she didn't do a good job of it). It's much easier to tell yourself "See, look! There's no hope for him. He's too far gone." if you know you're probably going to have to kill him regardless. Like an attempt at avoiding more pain. It's so messy.

I'm glad you're enjoying it! There's much to love, even with the things that hurt and frustrate.

Title Till the End of the Moon Spoiler
[Ep 25] omfg, why is Ye Xi Wu like this? I get why TTJ has trust issues, but why does she constantly just assume…
Li Susu/Ye Xiwu watched the Devil God slaughter all of the immortal sects and basically destroy the world in the first episode. This is hanging over her head the entire time. When she actively hates him, when she pities him, when she's falling in the love with him, it's always there in the back of her head. She knows what's at risk if she fails. She doesn't have the luxury of trusting. Because what if she's wrong? How could she possibly live with that? if you compare the pain and suffering Sang Jiu had when her clan was killed , how she felt she was at fault for falling in love with Ming Ye. I feel had Susu trusted the goodness she saw in TTJ, and she was wrong , she would blame herself in the exact same way. Any time he does anything even remotely morally questionable, it easily triggers that part of her, this intense fear & knowledge, & serves as proof to her that fate can't be changed, even if there is part of her that wanted that. That's her burden to bear.

As much as our hearts break for Tantai Jin, as much as it's not his fault. The evil bone is a burden that he bears through no fault of his own after all - she still can't take the risk. How could she? If she's wrong, then everyone dies and the entire world suffers. The truth is... it probably would have happened. It's not his fault, but the evil bone would have consumed him (at that point in time at least). I feel like it would have been kind of selfish of her to take the risk just because she knew there was goodness in him or that she loved him (As romantic a notion as that would have been) That's why it's tragic. He deserves better in general, but that's not the cards that's been dealt to him. It's very cruel.

I empathize with them both.

I hope you enjoy the rest of the rest of the show anyway haha - lots of glorious angst and sweetness ahead!

I came here for Deng Wei because I was curious about his works after watching his killer performance in Lost You…
You're in for a treat. (one way of putting it haha) in terms of Luo Yunxi's acting ability. He's one of the best in the industry.
Him and Bai Lu both act their freaking asses off the entire time. Their chemistry is something special too.

Good luck watching and enjoy!
Feel free to come here for discussion and questions as you watch. It's been over 4 months and we're all still hanging out here because we can't let go haha.

Tantai Jin`s eyes speaks to my soul. His pain, resentment, cold-ness and cunningness and his eventual transformation…
It was such a great scene! The acting was incredible. Actually the acting in that entire arc was unbelievable. I agree they are such an epic couple! I'll never get enough of them.

I would like to see more of TTJ interacting with his Master and sect brothers.
yeah I agree! I would have loved to have seen it too. Part of the issue of the ending is that it was rushed because of the cuts. It just needed more room to breathe a bit. As you said, even just another 5-10 minutes would have helped so much.

The worst part is, is that there was a scene in the original script that showed this, I think. I remember a part where GYJW realised it was TTJ's plan all along. So they probably did film it. It exists somewhere, and we'll never see it.

I like to assume that by the time the drama ends 500 years later and the three realms are at peace, everyone knows exactly what happened and who is responsible, even if it did happen off-screen. I can't imagine Susu didn't let everyone know.
