Review Mine
I still think WOD was more entertaining/memorable than this drama, this one has some weird vibe about it... I kept watching it just because I wanted to know what happens with the tutor character and the murder mystery scene.
in WOD I loved watching the FLs, hilarious cheating hubby, the Ahn family and Lee Ki Woo's subtle romance with Kim Hee Sun (I remember watching The Bride of Habaek at the same time with it but I felt more genuine chemistry between LKW/KHS than Nam Joo Hyuk/Shin Se Kyung)
WOD is one of those dramas I'd consider re-watching some day but Mine is just a one time watch for me.

anyone else still like this over Mine?
I was addicted to this back when it was airing along with The Bride of Habaek I was more excited about shipping Kim Hee Sun & Lee Ki Woo than Nam Joo Hyuk & Shin Se Kyung lol
loved watching the main FLs, hilarious cheating hubby and the Ahn family!

Person Baek Mi Kyung
Her works are really good, I love them for the feelings but not that much for the plot. Like with my heart I give…
yeah I enjoyed most of her works but MMS was the worst, you're not missing out on anything if you dropped it xD
I still like Woman of Dignity more than Mine. I loved watching the main leading ladies, the Ahn family, the hilarious cheating hubby and Lee Ki Woo's subtle romance with Kim Hee Sun (I shipped them so much back when it was airing lol)

the previous 3 were definitely better/more addicting than MM but there is always something unsatisfying with daily…
me neither, am glad the ratings are dropping for this drama, imo it doesn't deserve more than a 6 (even before the dementia or ending happened). MM's story was lacking so that's why it was rushed, it ended right on 100 eps instead of being extended by a few eps like the other dailies in this time slot.
Anyways I'm also looking forward to Uhm Hyun Kyung's new drama Second Husband, which also stars Ji Soo Won (Gracious Revenge) and Kim Hee Jung (AMIAV) it sounds like another makjang revenge drama which I like watching..

hey there! I remember you, we talked before from AMIAV comment section. I agree this was disappointing, I kept…
there's a few teaser trailers of it on Youtube or Asianwiki. Red Shoes will be airing soon on Monday July 5.
For some reason I found it funny MM actually ended on 100 eps instead of being extended by a few episodes like the previous dramas in this time slot. Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who enjoyed AMIAV over MM, I saw someone else here who also agreed that the previous 3 airing dailies had better plots/endings than this one.

Review Miss Monte-Cristo Spoiler
Was what I felt too, upon seeing the finale. Srsly ...1. Mrs. Hwang's sudden dementia attack and even death not…
the previous 3 were definitely better/more addicting than MM but there is always something unsatisfying with daily drama endings..
GR - was that Carrie's ghost or did she actually survive? That doctor was boasting about his recovery program though
FP - last ep was kinda rushed but I didn't like it when her romance with Go Se Won died halfway/got "married" to the 2nd ML
AMIAV - I'm still salty with SJ's death T_T
in MM apparently you get amnesia from falling down a bridge lol I hate when they use amnesia at the end it feels like everything happened for nothing, and she forgot about Ji Na Hwang who she thought of as her mom. A better ending would be her moving to another country as a famous fashion designer for a new start. HR dying was too easy for her she deserved to suffer more than SR since all of this started because of her.
I'm glad it's finally over, can't wait to watch the next daily drama.. hope it will give me that same excitement from watching the previous 3 shows. I also watched the previous 2 before those ones (A Place in the Sun) but it was too bland for me and Left-Handed Wife (very addicting/makjang on steroids - it was funny AMIAV also used the same dead body/watch switcheroo like in LHW)

Lesson learned! Go with your gut and drop a drama in time! I invested 50 precious hours of my time for this hot…
at least Phoenix 2020 had some decent romance and background music.. loved Seo Ha Joon in that drama!

Title Phoenix 2020 Spoiler
Did she ends up with Jung Min? If she does Ill re-take it.....
besides it being a "remake" and people complaining about her not ending up with SH in this version I don't see why she would want to go back to SH when there's a handsome sweet guy like JM in front of her, and their love story was more convincing than with SH's rushed romance. Even though the plot was underwhelming halfway but JM/JE romance was decent, it was my main reason for watching this. Rarely do we ever see a 2nd ML get to sleep with the FL.

never wanted a drama to be off air as much as this one. i'm surprised that i kept watching the previews each week…
same, I was disappointed although for a different reason. I never thought of this as a "Montecristo" drama, it was more like a copy/paste plot & characters from older makjang daily dramas but not as addicting/original as those ones I watched. The hidden identity/revenge plot is the norm for all the dramas in this time slot so I didn't really see anything "Montecristo" about it, the FL felt too dependent on Ji Na Hwang and the side characters felt like they were randomly casted for the roles. I'm glad this one is over so I can move onto the next daily. Have you seen Yellow Boots? It had similar characters (2nd FL stealing FL's fiance and FL sibling with childish personality) but the FL actually got framed/imprisoned unlike MM and it did the revenge plot much better than this one. I would highly recommend YB to anyone over MM.

This drama could have been better if they made it short as 30 episodes needed only. They shoul have choose Yoon…
no casting could've saved this drama's script, Yoon Ah Jung was great in Yellow Boots (whose plot/theme actually fits the Montecristo name better than this drama) the next airing drama Red Shoes will star So Yi Hyun, I think it will be a more satisfying watch than MM.

Title Red Shoes
bet there will be PAT jacket and whatever name bed again at CEO office. LoL
yeah, daily dramas always sell the same clothing, use similar sets and PPL.. I got used to it xD

why did Eun Jo even fall down the bridge? Man I hate it when they make someone have amnesia at the ending... feels like all the character development and events that happened was for nothing. She even forgot about Hwang Ji Na (the only character I actually liked from the beginning), who she also considered as her mom :/

I honestly should have dropped it, but didn't in hopes it would have gotten better. I liked the story at first,…
hey there! I remember you, we talked before from AMIAV comment section. I agree this was disappointing, I kept watching til the end just because I was addicted to the previous 3 dailies but AMIAV was at least more entertaining with more interesting characters/good music despite the low ratings on MDL. I was always dying for the next episodes everyday but barely felt excitement for MM at all. I could tell something felt off about this drama since the beginning episodes, it used the similar tropes and characters of Don't Hesitate/Yellow Boots/The Promise but it was a flop imo there wasn't really anything outstanding or "Montecristo" about it, MM felt like a filler drama and the 2 main actresses/characters were always using the same facial expressions. MM was quite low budget even for a daily drama imo, in the earlier episodes I thought they re-used the same hospital hallway with the brown doors from AMIAV.
But I guess those who are new to dailies might be easy to please with this one and rated it highly anyways.
I think the next drama Red Shoes will be better since I enjoyed Choi Myung Gil's other daily Gracious Revenge.

I still can't understand the reason behind the name of this drama, can someone explain it to me?
imo they borrowed the name from the novel just to attract viewers, this is just a generic low budget daily drama with typical makjang tropes used in other dailies. I only watched the anime version Gankutsuou but the main character was supposed to be framed/imprisoned for something but they didn't even do that here.

Most crazy thing is : cliffhanger of episode 4 is the same than episode 3 !!! ^^
lol. That reminds me of when I watched a daily drama Phoenix 2020, the exact same ending happened on the next episode.
What do you think will happen in this week's ep?

I don't think anything will happen to them, they will be protected by plot armor lol there were so many times OYH could've died but she still made it to season 3...

I think OYH is pretty much alive. Eugene is one of main "Penthouse" lady, so writers simply cannot give her that…
yeah last week's ep already hinted that the body was Hye In's mom, I don't know why people are confused about this. Plus what better place is there to hide a dead body than under a fountain in a short period of time? She was practically asking for it, confronting JDT alone like that showing off her USB stick.
