Premiere January 26 means it is just 3 days before Chinese New Year 9 days holiday so they are aiming for the potential high viewership in the holiday and thats why they release all eps on premiere day for VIP. Three days before will give it time to have word of mouth spread before audience enter holiday and so more audience might tune in during the holiday. I guess the aim is for a lot of people to binge the whole series during the holiday and create trending topics instead of only firat few eps release during holiday might not have much impact compared to if all eps released.
But you are also right, SFOT marketing team might also think they better release all eps quickly before male lead cause trouble again, lol, a drama can be canceled in middle of airing if any cast cause scandal, afterall

i end up watching ep4-8 raw without subs, cos i really couldnt help it haha, and my chinese skill is below average

omgggg first 8 eps are so good! this is suspense Bad Kids and Murderous Affair level, every end of episodes are so intense and makes you want to see more! i love itttt, i screamed at the end of ep8 cos i need to know what happens next. also i was not interested in BJT before, but i gotta say his acting is real good here and now im liking him. not a fan of zhao jinmai either but she is real good, she carry the whole show, the script is really well done, great job for the whole crew!
