what makes this drama so perfect was the ending. he died next to the one he loved the most in a peaceful place yet he was so scared to die and wanted to life so badly. it was so realistic because most of the time people just die in dramas but him saying that he wants to live was so realistic and heartbreaking
I was watching most of the drama not knowing why it was called Mr. Plankton but it all makes sense now:
„Hey. See those sparkles? Do you know what they are? Look closely, and you’ll see that it’s actually plankton floating. They emit light that they capture from the sun. What you see is plankton shimmering. Most fish, I imagine, eat them up. They’re the very bottom of the food chain. The lowliest creature in all the oceans. But they’re cool. When they shine, they also produce tons of oxygen, which you and I depend on in oder to live. So, without them, then this whole ecosystem couldn’t survive, let alone out planet Earth, and that’s pretty amazing, right? That such lowly creatures can be so valuable at the end of the day. Let’s just say, after I die, I hope I come back as plankton.“

yeah and the fact that she prob is his mother makes their four group friendship dynamic a bit complicated because now she’s fls mother in law and not only her friend anymore
