Theory:

- Pei Zhi said that about a month ago, he slept for a long time and when he woke up, there was that pen recorder,

- what if, when there's a travel to a parallel world, it's the soul, or the consciousness which travels and which occupies the body of their double in this world?

- if so, LZX and her buddy traveled there, but stayed for a long time so when they left, the LZX and JJ of the cheese world had amnesia,

- what if Pei Zhi from Cheese world found a way to travel to Strawberry world? he then occupied Pei Zhi's body of this world, let the pen recorder (why, though?) and went to LZX's home to let the picture in the mail box. He had to, for LZX and JJ to travel to HIS cheese world. Kind of like a time loop, only here it's a parallel loop. And that would explain why Strawberry Pei Zhi had no memory of doing that.

Maybe I'm wrong.

I hadn't thought of it! That's a great theory, maybe he did time travel and something bad happened, he changed the past? Like, his daughter died or something?

Also, hmmm, I don't know who said that Old Lin, Pei Zhi's parents and Pei Zhi were linked to whatever happened 4/5 years ago. Looks like lot of stuff happened, Pei Zhi stopped having contact with the FL, stopped studying math, Old Lin developped early Alzeihmer (did he, was it in fact the result of time travel?) and Pei Zhi's parents died, all that happened 5 years ago? It could be all linked.

Daddy Lin was attacked, am I the only one who thought that the FL's best friend's father is the one who did it? He is indifferent to anything apart from money and gambling. Maybe he has debts and he followed the FL's dad and stole the money?

Apparently, in strawberry's world, Pei Zhi's parents don't get along, dad is a boxer, mom is??? and she doesn't want her son to study mathematics. Something happened to Pei Zhi's father, or maybe both his parents and that's when he changed career?

Now, is the Pei Zhi who sent the picture is the one from Strawberry's world or from Cheese world? And does this world still exist somewhere or was it a "possibility timeline" which got destroyed once the FL managed to achieve her goal? It looked like this world was collapsing, when the FL and her friend were being transported back to their strawberry world.

So I wonder, parallel world or an alternate timeline, a "could have been if FL's dad had never raised her"?

Hmmm, in the opening credit, ML? is sitting on a strawberry cake and FL on a cheese cake. I wonder if originally, ML wasn't from the parallel world and he went back to his world and that's why she couldn't find him when she went looking for him. He was supposed to be in Germany but thanks tosocial medias and internet, it should have been easy to fid him.

aaybe he found a way to travel back and frth, but only a specific time, like during a solar eclipse?

I have watched 4 episodes so far, and I don't know, maybe it's only their consciences which traveled ?

Hu Yi Tian? is there a scandal about him? I can't say I'm up to date with what's happening with chinese actors.

Great drama so far but where I'm watching, the subtitles aren't good. I mean, the last letters of every sentence are missing. Do you know a place to watch where the subtitles are okay?

Also, Pei Zhi is the one who sent them to the parallel world, right? He put the picture in the mailbox and bam, it happened. Does this mean that Pei Zhi was from the cheese world originally and somehow landed in the strawberry world? God this is so confusing. I have only seen two episodes so far, I want to watch the others but the subtitles...

Reset was great, a bit repetitive but that was the story. I plan to watch Mr Bad,, let's hope it airs this august, as planned.

For those who have seen it, is there time travel? The summary seemed to imply so but there's no "time travel" tag, so I wonder.

It's like it's getting worse with censorship. First it was mainly because of scandals touching actors. Then there was censorship about time travel. Then about same sex romance dramas. Now, it's about historical dramas. Three dramas in a week not airing while they should have, because of censorship? That's a lot of dramas in such a short time period.

Fingers crossed! I love time travel stories, the last one I watched (and that I loved, I don't love ALL time travel dramas) was last summer's "First love again". I wanted so much to watch that one this summer. Sigh, not this one, then. Maybe the one you mentioned.

Also, fingers crossed for the drama with Xu Kai Cheng, also a time travel story. I saw the trailer for "Love is n an accident" and it looked very funny.

It's just that it happened within two days, with the other series and this one. I wonder why. One was removed, the other which was supposed to air didn't and we don't know when it will. Hopefully this summer. But it's a time travel story so.... yeah, , there are resasons to be worried.

I meant this one "See you again", the ML is from the Republican era, right? and he seems to go back and forth the present and this past era.

Any news? Even a rumor would give me hope. I love time travel love stories so I wait impatiently for this one, especially since the other two I was waiting for are either cancelled (or most probably forever cancelled "Night wanderer") or temporarly (I hope) on the shelf "See you again".

So yeah, if anyone has intel, it would be nice to have hope.

Two dramas taking place during the Republican era (or at least partly in the Republican era for this one), are removed, not a coincidence. What is happening right now in China for such a thing to happen to two dramas at the same time?

That's a good point, I hadn't thought about that. About how her being uneducated meant that she wasn't "wife material" for the men of this time period. Especially men from the same social background as hers. They must have the choice and her not being able to read and write plays against her.

I don't this we, the audience, are supposed to see her as perfect. The three male characters fall for her for different reasons but I think one of them is that she is an oddity in these times and age. I'm sure there were women of character but the MLs never met one of them.

On top of that, she is so very young. Only 15. Yes, people got married young back then but that doesn't mean they were fully adult mentally. We can see the FL making mistakes, miscalculating, clinging to her dream of a stable life, even when she is warned that the path she has chosen will not lead to the realization of her dreams.

This drama is quite long so I think we will see her grow up and mature.

Maybe Xing Fei will bring out the best in him? She shines in rom-coms. There could be great chemistry between them, who knows?

I can't wait for this one, any news on when it's going to air? I think the ML is handsome, both in modern dramas and historical dramas. But I think he has a more... modern face, if you seen what I mean, which means he is strange in historical dramas, at least IMO.

Also, he is very tall and rather large so he is so different from mosts male actors, it's almost strange to watch him, lol.

With time travel, a bitter-sweet ending is possible. My favorite ending for TT is if they all go back to live in the present. Because yeah, the lack of hygiene and medecine and all over modern stuff is not how I picture a happy ending, especially for a girl.

Well, there's a reason why my favorite TT drama is the Korean one "Queen and I".

Or, I can accept reincarnation. LIke if one of them has to stay in the past, then he or she gets reincarnated in the present. So, some kind of happy ending.
