I think he was made to marry the older sister, because that was her plan. She was alreayd in the resistance group and being his wife would mean she had a better chance to spy and get a handle on things. There was no love, no prior engagement and they never even married. Under these circumstances the love with the younger sister makes sense because they were in love with each other all along. The whole arrangement was made on the spot kinda.

I am on episode 26 and I am loving this. Yes it has its issues, which show doesn't but overall it has been thrilling. I love that all brothers apart from the youngest one, got their back story and love story kinda. They felt like real characters with a past and real feelings. And I loved all of them. They didnt feel like side characters or supporting characters, because they were all fleshed out nicely. I hope it doesnt disappoint in the final episode. Is it normal to like all characters apart from the evil fathers haha

Ok of course I love the main couple and the story, but can I say howmuch I love how conflicted Wei Yan is and how good of an actor Liu Duan Duan is? His acting was so good in these last few episodes.. It made me really feel for him and his struggle. Its not an easy thing to know that you are the product of rape and even though you sre loved, you will still be constrained through no fault of your own... Just phenomenal.

Thats so true, I mean if you are going to dress her badly I''d rather she wore her own clothes from her wardrobe or something. I am sure she has better taste than this. An outfit doesnt need to be expensive to be stylish and in good taste

I have watched up to episode 8 and it is quite good. I like the fact that it is quite dark and seductive and Chen Fang Tong looks incredible in this. I mean she is always pretty, but here she is so sexy and confident. This part suits her very well and I love seeing her a little morally grey.

It is kind of disappointing having an episode a day. Ok in this last epi we finally know how MLs father died and it was not by his hand.

Yes I have the same problem even in later eps i.e. episode 8, plus I am absolutely disgusted by all the scheming. I get increasingly upset as I watch all the bad deeds the FL did.
I hope she kinda redeems herself soon.... II cant believe how weak the FL was in her first tribulation...literally like a lamb fro slaughter...
