I'm like why would creds like CT+L not just add more writers, why buy her original IP, make her solo sw as a newbie, and risks ur reputations unless she got some mad talent, etc...Theories........ It consoles my nerves, my cuties just can't fail.

see your concern, STTR def not everyone's cup of tea. Of ww,ycy,ct works, most sim to "Born to Run" (also a depressive drama, subplot university student suffers sim loss to CYZ, family struggles sim to ZY). The script 2/3 hardships, 1/3 redemption, first arc had to be very sad depressing to make the redemption era that much more joyful, satisfying. Good script made it #1 on China's CCTV network. Feel dir cat's tree is doing same type of drama for STTR, but with his special style, gorgeous aesthetics, and deeper involvement in the emotions of CYZ +ZY.

Just my speculations though, and I do hope he did pick a good s.writer with Shi Ye. Would love to know your viewpoints more too. Thanks for your reply and STTR discussion.

saw on Douban, Maoyan, STTR s.writer, Shi Ye, is also 1of4 sw's for LBL. With cat'stree's good script choices for WIFTY, LBL, expecting the same script discernment from him for STTR. He must find her talented to give her first 2 ops as a newcomer (which is nice of him). I think his record on script and as a talented director merits some confidence in his preference of Shi Ye's script. Please let me be right later.
