Dubbing is normal in C-dramaland. It’s either their accent isn’t the standard Mandarin or they just don’t want to waste money and hire a voice actress/actor. If the actress/actor is dubbing themselves, they will take longer than a professional.

I like the drama but why did they make such a naive move? Whoever becomes part of the cast will get heaps of hate comments and get scolded by netizens.
