It's been 1 episode. let's not act as if the world has somehow ended already.
I didn't tell you you should like it. All I said was maybe give it more than 1 episode to see if it surprises you and you enjoy it more than you thought you would. But again you've decided to hate the new FL because she apparently is an attempted copycat even though we know very little about her since it's only been 1 episode. But like you said, to each their own. You clearly came into this season ready to dislike it because the FL had changed so what's the point of even having a conversation with you. You're mind was made up before it ever even aired an episode.

Lol they didn't erase her character. It's pointless talking about this if that's what you got from episode 1. What do you want them to do, have Isoo sitting in the corner crying because she is gone to the U.S. The actress had other shows she wanted to do so they had to move on, it happens. It seems like you've decided to hate this season no matter what happens because it's with a new female lead. What happens if you end up liking her character more than the season 1 FL. You never know what could happen since again it's only been 1 episode.

All I'm saying is you've made alot of assumptions on this season after 1 episode. If in episode 2 everything you wanted to happen in episode 1 happens will you come back and say it's everything you wanted from season 2 and it's amazing? Just saying I think it's hard to judge a whole season and character development and fully understand new characters and their motives after 1 episode. Just my opinion on the matter. There's been plenty of shows that start of with great pilots and end up being pretty average and there's been shows that start slow and end up being pretty great. Let's just give it time and see where it goes. Just the age old "Don't judge a book by it's cover" basically.
they other replies are correct about when it takes place, but so far they have changed some stuff around, especially…
Yeah I've not read the novel at all so I'm going in completely blind with nothing to compare it to. It's been fun seeing novel readers talk about what seems different and trying to guess what they may or may not add/change in the show.

Thanks for the info. I saw someone else say it seems like things that may happen in episode 2 don't happen till later in the book so some people are saying they might move things up and have more storyline added in so I'm interested to see what changes/additions there might be.
Novel was around 400 pages long so u can think she goes to paris at around 300 pages ig
Thanks, will be interested to see where it happens in the show. I'm just hoping they don't leave the reconciliation and them being together again and happy all for just the last episode.
she goes to france almost near the end of the novel
Ok so the reconciliation part isn't that much of the novel. I wonder if it will be expanded a bit more in the show. Excited to see what they do, thanks for answering!
Someone that has read the novel can you answer some questions for me. So in the novel they eventually do actually divorce and then Ran goes to Paris for 2 years and when she comes back she tries to win back Neen? Is all of this correct? and if so how much of the novel is before she goes to Paris and how much is once she comes back? Just wanted to know when we think the divorce and her leaving will happen in the show. I saw the director I think post something about episodes 7,8,and 9 being very good so idk if that's when her leaving will happen or if that's some other big event that happens in the novel once she comes back. Just was looking for some answers since idk how much of the novel is before she goes to Paris and how much of it is about once she comes back.
The Male lead grew up with her. He was the kid at the mines with her when she fell in looking for the dog.I'm…
His name woo gi comes up in the subtitles during that scene when they are kids looking for the dog in the mine. Also somewhere near the end of episode 2 it shows how he recognized her when he looked through the hole he made by breaking the vans window, when he first found it.
I really enjoyed the first two episodes to kick off the drama, but honestly they should have released at least…
