I really love Mu Qingyan’s character, as long as it doesn’t involve his obsessiveness toward Cai Zhao. We don’t even know why he fell in love with her in the first place (aside from his obvious attachment issues). He becomes horrible, and then pathetic when she exposes his lies. But the biggest problem is that their personalities simply don’t match. If they end up together, it might mean sacrificing everything that makes his character interesting. He’s cunning, with a destructive yet revolutionary mind, while she’s fatalistic and keeps denying the fragments of truth she discovers about her relatives. All she really wants is a quiet life where everyone around her is safe.
I’m afraid the story will give them a happy and easy ending. Mu Qingyan's personality seems necessary to bring about peace, and only once peace is achieved could he finally calm down and live the kind of life Cai Zhao wants. It would reduce his character to just loving Cai Zhao, which I never understood in the first place.

he will like not now after around 4 to 5 episodes more I guess...and also like she's really ignoring him yrrr…
Yes, Cai Zhao obviously needs to confirm that the Six Sects are plotting something before she can confess her love. But I’m afraid it might come out in anger if Mu Qingyan tries to use Disintegration again, even though he promised he wouldn’t.

I can't, Mu Qingyan lacks so much dignity. Cai Zhao flirted only once and never again, yet he’s so clingy and flirty. I wish he would sulk a little and let her chase him for once.
