Surprising somehow. We know the villain is there so ofc he's going to do annoying stuff. It's also nothing special that we have a villain in ep 14. As if not so many dramas solve all problems in the last ep 🤷🏼‍♀️ And how often are we sincerely surprised because of the plot? I mostly am not, but this series has surprised me quite a few times already.

Most of k-dramas are predictable, which doesn't mostly mean bad. However, this drama surprised me a few times and I haven't been able to predict everything. It's been very refreshing to watch. I like the plot the most. So whoever would be acting, I'd still watch. I do like the leads though, but the story more.

I thought the NC scene wasn't so called hot, it was emotional, which suits well for this story. But I also thougt the flashbacks in the middle of all of that was a weird choise.

Yes, I also thought something was missing in the end. Hard to say what exactly, but I wanted more. The ending wasn't that bad though.

Oh yes, rl can be a mess. Just discussing here what first comes to mind while watching series. When Seji told about his bf, Ken and everyone had seen them already acting very bf like, even if no announcement had been made. So to me it was too late. Ken knew already then. So yes, this was a surprising detail to me. Waiting for Seji to open up in each scene he was on 😂

Yes, the intimate scenes were not that bad compared to many others, but the chemistry was not there that much.

It's realistic if you have money. What first came to my mind was that it's funny how always in these series they act like people can't change a job. Like in his situation he could have just started to search a new job and not go back to US. Rarely anyone these days spend their whole life in the same work place.

So it's not threat to their friendship if he's not saying anything? Better just silently rub it on his face being openly with Japan? Still weird to me. As a friend I would be expecting having a talk and being first to know the decision has been made.

To me it's surprising to see friends not talking at all. He was late even announcing about his bf. I was actually expecting him to let Ken know his decision first before being openly with Japan, since everyone knew he had 2 admirers.

He doesn't need an explanation, but it feels like they are not even friends. They don't talk at all and everyone can see he's not feeling well. Might be the first time I'm seeing no communication in a situation like this. It was surprising.

Ofc no matter what genre the series it is, the correct subs would be nice. But unfortunately the wrong meanings happens quite often. I've gotten used to it and those mistakes don't surprise me anymore. Makes me laugh maybe sometimes. More like I was surpised that a word sex is somehow worse than any other wrong word, if that's what you meant. However, that's how I understood.
