Teh handled the situation badly, but still, he isn't even half as bad as Jimmy. We can see it how Teh wants to respect the deal and stays away from Fah. At the same time Jimmy doesn't even care.

Teh did his part. He warned his brother over and over again. Toh just doesn’t trust his own brother it seems and has chosen to lie to him. He can't say nobody warned him.

Toh really is dumb. He knows what Jimmy is, but wants more of it after a moment of cry. Now this is what he is chosen. You can't stop falling in love, but you can stop letting that person trick you more. Also he doesn't care abt his brother who's side he should be. He heard how Jimmy told Teh to stay away from Fah.

What did Time say/do when Tod confessed?

Maybe they cut some scenes of the 2nd couple, because like you said, their actions don't make sense. On the other hand, the actions of the first couple don't make much sense either 😂

Why didn't Phoon wear his hoodie over his head when meeting Fah? Like when they were planning his outfit? As if Fah wouldn't recongnize his hair, ears etc. 😂

Netflix doesn't have any adds. No matter if I watch one episode or all of them at once. So I can't help with that. Also I can't watch Korean tv and their adds. And also I don't even watch adds on my national tv. I just save all I want to watch for later viewing. Adds are waste of time. Nobody wants to watch those. I watch adds only if someone pays me and a lot. So I guess product placement is the best way to go for them.

I haven't read the book and I'm sure she's acting just fine. Like I said. I don't have other problems with her, just the voice. I also assumed that at least the beginning could be difficult to me. I don't think women should "act or talk cute". That is for kids. The older you get, the less "cute" it becomes.

I didn't think this was any worse than other short dramas. This is what they are.

I don't think it's unintentional. They are all pretty much like this, soap opera style.

I almost always check the actors except this time, because someone wanted my opinion on it. So I started watching for different reasons than normally. I have dropped a series because of Esther before, but also one I pushed through because of the ml (Dylan). So I don't know what will happen with this one. The voice is the only thing abt her that I don't like. I know she's not the only Chinese actress with a voice like that. That kind of baby voice of women is popular in China and that being popular is creepy imo.

Someone recommended me this drama because of the ml. I didn't know who the actors were. What a disappointment to see Esther again. She's everywhere. Since she's hard to listen to, I don't know if I'll keep watching. Too bad, since the plot seems interesting. I also like the ml and understand why this was recommended. I just wish the fl was pretty much anyone else.
