I've never been able to find a source for it being banned by the government. I've talked to some Chinese fans who said it was the companies themselves censoring things, so I don't know, I don't speak Chinese yet. I think it will probably be a while before they do anything as explicit as we get from Thailand maybe (which may also be a cultural thing), but I am very positive about the future in China.

Myatb has Chinese cast and crew (with a couple of exceptions) and filmed in China, it's Chinese to me but yeah the production company is Thai. It's a good start at least, I'm very hopeful for more Chinese BL in the future 🙂 Chinese BL is my favourite. I think people unfairly judge China and Chinese productions. I think people there are doing their best in a fresh industry and I appreciate it.

There's a few coming out already, meet you at the blossom is uncensored wuxia and has aired 8 episodes already I believe, blue canvas of youthful days is starting in a few days and that's supposed to be uncensored, and there's more on the way
