Yue Jin Zhao and Yue Qi lived together in Wuyan Village for three years. With an amazing "resonant" relationship, they knew nothing about each other's origins. They worked together to venture outside, wishing to get the old memories back. They were involved in mysterious events such as the rebellion of the Qihun Holy Sect and the Blood Sacrifice of Luojiabao, and in the process of fighting against the Holy Sect, Yue Qi suddenly regained her sealed memories and emotions...

Chun Woo Hee plays the FL in both, and although the stories aren’t that similar, the FL in both starts out as a con artist. ML in both also really wants to save/help FL.

Characters have special powers in both shows. They use their powers for their own gain at first but eventually learn how to use them to help others. They lose their powers at some point. Some characters aren’t what they seem.

Both FL are cute, likes food, adorable and quirky. Both dramas have sisterhood. ML fall in love first. Cute secondary couples. Both dramas have concubines.

New Life Begins has more political moments. And secondary couples. Mengfei is more orientated on who will fall in love with ML(more love triangles) les secondary ML.

Similar story telling, similar leads on remarkably similar trajectory.
You get to watch both set of leads start in life, their sudden launch in to the real world, society at large and struggling with basic human interactions, figuring out what duplicity looks like and that in fact very few are honest.

Both the shows have same directors. Both involve mystery solving though one is more story line based and the other one is game based.
