They are both leads intelligent, beautiful, and royal. My only thing was that a few episodes were a bit dragged—unnecessarily added story-like. Thirty or fewer episodes would have been great.

Both are miniseries with passion, plotting, tragedies, betrayals, sibling rivalry, fighting and a hot male lead.

Both are amazing highschool romance. They gave viewers this warm feeling and heart-fluttering moments that make us fall in love with the movies.

Both ML in the movies are kind and sweet but KNT ml is more the friendly and charming type while OSD ml is more tsundere, blunt type.

But FL in both movies are similar. Shy, timid but kind. For me personally, OSD fl is more relatable because despite the shy and timid personality, she actually has social life and actually have no problem communicating with people (unless when it comes to her feelings)

Both dramas have ssimilar vibes and they are both based on school life/ Youth. If you liked ¨ Snap and spark¨ then you might like user not found.

Both feature a once superstar level male lead brought low by an event in the beginning and the mystery around that event.

Both dramas have a ML that lives in a small town at the sea and is the all-round guy that shows up and works everywhere. He always tries to make a little money.
The FL is a city girl with an interesting profession who goes to the small town to find healing and she bickers with the ML upon arrival.
They keep running into each other and despite their initial bickering, they also support each other.
Both dramas have many supporting characters that live in the small town.
Different is 'Small Town Stories' also has family plot and unless they’re at the outskirts of the city or by the sea, the area is bigger than HTCCC since it takes place in Weihai, China which has a population of 1.4 million

Tho splash splash is kdrama set in historical drama, the time travel component is present..the short length sweet series aesthetic is the same in both..

Similar story of grief and healing, slow burn romance, beautiful countryside scenery, feel-good slice of life, love the soundtracks for both
