They are both crime, suspense shows that follow a team of criminal profilers that work together to build a profile of the criminal and help bring them to justice.

I realize Survival Code isn't even out yet (*cries*) but based off of the description alone they have the following similarities:

- groups that get trapped on a deserted island
- survival
-romance

I think Survival code will be a bit more serious than Missing 9 (Missing 9 is fantastic in the beginning, but I feel like they put way too much comedy into the latter half of the show, so it kinda defeats the fear / tension of the show sometimes).
