Ship of Theseus
I wanted to see Kamiki's acting, but I had the impression that the story was a little painful for me, who was a junior high school student at the time. But looking back, I think it was well worth watching this work. I don't know for sure, but I had the impression that at the stage of writing the script, words were chosen that pierced each and every line deeply. It was true that I had a hard time watching this role as a fan, but I didn't feel scared because the cast had scrutinized the meaning of each line before issuing it. I personally like the camera work, room photos, dirty clothes, and half-eaten meals that make the two people look real when they ate. The lyrics of the last theme song resonate very much. It was very nice to have the theme song and feel that it was made for this work.The atmosphere like the folds of Kamiki at the beginning was very good, so I felt the outline of the part that wasn't so clearer as I proceeded.
Jun cannot return to his former self, who had a mild personality, and soon becomes a sharp and ferocious personality, even killing people.
It's good to have a life, but I think it's a living hell if I'm no longer myself, I'm no longer in love with her, and I'm struggling when I'm out of control.
I was thinking about it all the time, remembering the theory of Ship of Theseus.

Poor execution of a story, saved by performances of the main leads
Story- Just by reading the synopsis of the story one can guess that story highlights the ethics in the medicine field. While I do agree with with whatever the drama is trying to explain to the viewers and how much ethics is important in Science, the execution was a little poor. It is very intriguing for the first two episodes but becomes a little bit boring in the between only to be saved by a very good finale.Acting- Kamiki Ryunosuke gave a performance of a lifetime. If Suda Masaki gave a performance of his lifetime in 3 nen A gumi, Kamiki gave that Henshin. Henshin is I guess one of the very few dramas that make good use of his acting ability. I liked Nikaido Fumi a lot here too.
Music- I really liked the theme song oyasumi by Yu Takahashi, it has pretty good lyrics. Not a huge fan of the background score though.
Overall- This series had the ability to be a masterpiece but because of the inconsistent execution of the story it kinda failed to become one. Watch it if you are a fan or interested in the performances of Kamiki Ryunosuke or Nikaido Fumi, they both were awesome!

Lingering Thoughts
Junichi's last smile made me cry. Till the end, it was unclear whether he was dominated by Kyogoku or was it just his own hidden personality surfacing, but the performance was wonderful. Many questions remain, like what happened to why did the violent Junichi, who had been sealed under the depths of the mind awaken. Why does he not have any relatives.The world created by the actors was wonderful, and five episodes have passed in no time.
Kamiki especially showed restrained madness, each delicate express, the fingertips. He did not miss a beat.
This drama gave me a lot to ponder about. This interpretation of the drama is both kind and painful,
and the warm days between Junichi and Megumi are so lovely that the
lingering sound remains causing the tears have overflowed. For what has been lost.
The drama much like the relationship keeps lingering in the thoughts.
If your personality makes you violent, what is the cause?
Did I go crazy because I couldn't save myself or was it caused little by little after each restraint.
Well, there are many questions, but it's a very good work. I cried because of a drama after a long time.

The story is relatively unhappy one
This is another 5 episode WOWOW drama. The original is Keigo Higashino's medical suspense. What is a human being? What is love? Where is the heart? It depicts a sad love story centered on miraculous medical science and forbidden technology.I've read everything from Keigo Higashino's work from "Makyu" to "Masquerade Eve", so I should have read this too, but I forgot about it as usual, so I enjoyed it enough as a suspense drama.
Above all, "Dark Ryunosuke Kamiki" other than Ninomae (Ninomae Juuichi of the drama "SPEC") is fresh. I think the other characters were also exquisite and good casting. The one that seemed to be particularly suitable was Fumi Nikaido, who played the role of Megumi. I also liked Makita Sports, the owner of an art supply shop where Megumi works.
The story is relatively unhappy one. I am not surprised because Higashino Keigo tends to write such stories. Certainly, the plot is really sad. However, I was impressed with the sorrow of the last part.
I want medicine that can save someone to develop steadily, but what if someone is making a life-threatening sacrifice behind the scenes of research? I think ...
In fact, however, not humans but mice are used (as guinea pigs to test something new)... then, some think rats good, but they also have life.
This makes me annoyed. After all, I can’t help thinking severely that this world is made up of “our rules we human beings made”.
This lesson is very deep and serious, I think.
