I put off watching this drama because I thought it was just another rom/com romance with the usual clinches and gimmicks. I was flat out wrong. Within ten minutes of the first episode, I was a gonner. I am hopelessly in love with the drama from episode one to seventeen!

It has the treasure hunt feel to it throughout, which supplies danger and intrigue, it has a romance plot that is realistic and honest, it has political aspects and the far reaching hands of corrupt and powerful businessmen, and it has police investigations. I mean really, what more is there?

The actors and actresses all played their roles really well. Especially Kim Sun Ah as Heo Cho Hwi and Lee Dong Gun as Kim Bum Sang. They were very real characters and their romance was just wonderful to watch. I swear you can feel them fall in love, feel their intensity, and they're very 3D in their personalities. I've seen a lot of romance dramas, and I have to say that even though the romantic plot wasn't the main priority, these two are my absolute favorite couple. That's even taking into account QIHM's couple! They fit so well together, their teasing and one upping each other was hilarious to watch, and their love and comforting of each other was even better. It was a fun ride to see them finally trust one another.

The supporting cast was also very well acted. The crazy and conceited Joo Hyun was hilarious, if not annoying at times. I really enjoyed watching her character develop and strive to be more and think more than just about herself. Officer Kang was also played very well. While he may be considered second male lead, I really loved him. I can't say much more without giving anything about later plots, but he's adorable.

The music in this was pretty good. There were some times where I thought they could have chosen a better song, but it never really detracted from the scenes. Overall, it didn't bother me too much. There is that one song (Can't remember the name) that is the ending theme that I really enjoy and is stuck in my head. XD

I guess my main point is, if you want hilarity, romance, danger, a good plot, intrigue, treasure hunts, and realistic couples, this is a drama you have to watch! I could gush all day and fangirl all over the place about this drama, but I'll force myself to stop and console myself over the fact that there isn't a second season by re-watching it and pretending there is. :P

I was bored and looking for a romcom cause ive seen all the best ones and I thought this one seemed different...

Story: Kind of have mixed feelings about it. It was very well written because it had a plot and at the same time kept the lightness of usual romcom fare. I also liked that the romance was very simple and straightforward. However I'll be honest and say that the antique crimes setting wasn't the most fascinating and often bored me. Cute simple ending.

Acting/Cast: Kim Sun Ah and Lee Dong Gun are already known to be talented actors but i just loved thier chemistry. It wasnt intense or anything but thier relationship felt very natural which matched the lightness of the drama (it didnt focus heavily on romance).

I thought it was interesting that Kim Jung Hwa played a supporting role when she started out playing main roles in dramas and movies. I dont know but her acting in this was just over the top. It really made her character annoying. I did think her side romance with the Chief was cute. Oh and I cant forget to mention Park Ki Woong who although only had a supporting role as KSA's brother, he managed to play a significant role by the end. He is just an amazing actor so it was nice to see him in this.

Music: Fit the drama but nothing too memorable.

Rewatch: I dont think this is something i have to see again.

Overall if you like light crime dramas then you'll enjoy this, but if your looking for something more engaging id say look elsewhere.

This drama was so beyond my expectations. It was realistic, gritty at times, and had no frills, which I really appreciated for a change.
The drama is well written. In a lot of other shows, the romance carries the story the whole way till the last 2 episodes where the tiny string of background conflict gets resolved. I loved that the main plotline revolves around their jobs and the thefts, making the resolution of the conflict much more satisfying. The romance as a whole was a side piece that rounded out and made the story sweeter to watch. I will also say that the romance in general was really well portrayed. There were no evil ex-girlfriends or scheming mother-in-laws. The obstacles to love were real and believable, and the whole thing was just beautiful to watch. The main couples relationship grew slowly, like a flower slowly blooming.

The part of the story that grabbed my attention was Heo ChoHee’s character by Kim Sun Ah. Amid all the dramas with melodramatic, emotionally volatile heroines, she was breathtaking as a well rounded and fleshed out character who made no bones about her priorities in life. It was so refreshing to see a female lead that didn’t melt into a giggling puddle of mush when she fell in love, and instead let the relationship add a new dimension to herself.

Kim Bumsung’s character was well developed too I thought- very thoughtfully portrayed and believable. In fact, I really loved all the acting in this show. The cast was superb. (I will caveat that Joo Hyun’s character was annoying at times, but endearing by the end.)

I just loved this drama. Hope others do too.

Alright

I like when Kim Sun Ah used to have a wider jaw line. I just miss the old Kim Sun Ah in general. Nowadays all her projects are about revenge and cunning. The drama is alright although it was lacking an interesting element. I was expecting the drama to explore more cases related to archeology but there were only a few. Meanwhile the romance was kinda cheesy but at least there was no big triangles.
