Oh My Ghost

오 나의 귀신님 ‧ Drama ‧ 2015
The two dramas are very much alike. What both have in common:
- dead people
- love triangle... kind of
- a loaded chief who is the boss of the heroine
- mix of comedy, romance, supernatural, mystery and crime

Oh My Ghost and Heart to Heart do not have similar plots, but they are both enjoyable to watch. The writing and directing along with the acting and chemistry worked well together to produce two wonderfully entertaining dramas. Although the plots are different, the female leads display a lovable awkwardness that subtly influences the charmingly over-confident male leads. Both dramas are definitely on my rewatch list.

Both drama have Park Bo Young as the main female lead, and both have amazing chemistry between the leads, also Park Bo Young's character name is also called Bong Soon here!

Both involve ghosts that inhabit another person's body to figure out the mystery of their deaths. In Who Are You?'s case it's a father that inhabits the body of a cold young man. The father attempts to make things right with his daughter as they had a falling out before he died. In the process the man who's body the father inhabits falls in love with the daughter. He and the father team up to protect the daughter from whoever killed her father while they solve the mystery.

It's really really funny and the romance is sweet as well. I think the whole possession concept is handled a little better in Who Are You than in Oh My Ghostess.

In both dramas plays Park Bo Young FL and there is body swap involved. In both was female character killed by serial killer. Oh My Ghostess and Abyss are supernatural dramas with cute romance.

Both dramas contain a supernatural aspect. and the main leads are “possessed” in some way. In Black, the main character’s body is possessed by a grim reaper; in Oh My Ghostess, the main character is possessed by a ghost. Both also have crime/ thriller aspect, but Black is much darker than Oh My Ghostess.

One day, Morikawa Natsumi suffers an accident. Unable to be seen or speak to anyone, she becomes a ghost wandering the streets. She's shocked when she finally manages to make eye contact with a young man -- Ichijo Ryouei, a handsome heir and fellow ghost also drifting through the city. This is the prequel to the "Memory Arc" and "Love Arc", depicting the irreplaceable days Natsumi and Ryouei spent together after their first fateful meeting in the afterlife, along with the relentless pursuit of the Grim Reaper chasing them. This is an original story not found in the webtoon.

They both have different story-line, tone and feel, but one thing is the same: the female leads can see the supernatural (ghosts). Akuryo Byoutou is much more darker than Oh My Ghostess.
