The Shower (1979)

Suk Yi meets Yeon Yi near the brook. She is landowner Yun's granddaughter from Seoul. After a while, Yeon Yi tries to make friends with him, and Suk Yi avoids her. Suk Yi finds himself lonely when she is not seen for a few days. One day, they ran into a shower while they were out on the field. They go under the shed and come back home safely, but Yeon Yi's poor health brings fever to her. As she recovers, she comes to the brook and tells Suk Yi that she is moving to the town. Later on that same day, he runs back to the brook to give her walnuts, but she is not there. His father informs him of her death on his way home, and Suk Yi swallows his tears in silence.
