Expectations

I have to say, overall I enjoy the show and I'm eager to watch season 2.  The acting was excellent.  Scenery superb.  Storyline......good.  If I were to rate, 5 being highest, then 5/5/3.   There were too many scenes of nonsensical talk.  What if this, what if that.   When you got down to the last 10 episodes, things began to speed up.  You suddenly jumped over things that previously you wallowed on.  It gave the impression that you suddenly realized you had to try to solve at least a few...so "rush, let's get it out there".  For season 2, please pace yourselves better.   Give us a few questions in 2 or 3 episodes, then solve 1 or 2 of those questions in 2 or 3 episodes.  That way, when you get to the end of season 2, you won't be bogged down by so many pre-existing plot lines and you'll have more time to think up new plot lines for future seasons. The Novoland series is big enough to last at least a dozen seasons.  But only if you manage to keep your audience interested and not confused or bored.    Having said all that, I must say....bravo.  I was entertained.   Bring Pan Xi back to life and let's see Shen in all his glory.   I do hope I don't have to wait until 2019 for season 2.  Considering we're only into January of 2018, that's a long time to wait.
