Zhen Hao tries his best to explain, but Jia Yu tells him off and says that he hid his job loss from her because he doesn’t trust her. They have a huge fight. Liu Hui Rong tries to intervene, but it doesn’t work, and she gets very worried.  The next day, Zhen Hao is unhappy to find that Jia Yu has returned to Taipei.  Jia Yu’s mom notices that she is upset and that she’s taking out her savings. She suspects that Jia Yu and Zhen Hao are having problems and worries that it’s a major issue. Zhen Xin and Liang Song get closer, which makes Cao Shu Feng very uncomfortable. He realises that he’s falling for her but refuses to admit it.  Jia Yu returns to Beijing and allows her cousin Shu Feng to meet her at the airport once. Shu Feng tells her that Zhen Hao hid the truth from her for her own good and because he wanted to preserve his self-dignity. Jia Yu recalls how they first met and decides to forgive Zhen Hao. She makes up with him and helps him get his rightful compensation from the company. Zhen Hao is impressed and regrets not telling her the truth earlier. Their relationship improves, and Jia Yu helps Zhen Hao deliver food. She introduces Taiwanese dishes to the restaurant, which are well received by customers. Hui Rong is ecstatic. (Source: Viu)
