Jia Yu returns to Beijing and is surprised to find Zhen Hao is not working. Hui Rong helps Zhen Hao find an excuse, and Jia Yu doesn't think too much of it. Jia Yu tells Zhen Hao of her plan to buy their own home in Beijing. Zhen Hao acts like he’s keen but secretly worried. Hui Rong misunderstands and thinks that they are trying to get a child. She cooks soup for Jia Yu, but Jia Yu is allergic to one of the ingredients and is hospitalized. Zhen Xin inadvertently reveals to Jia Yu that Zhen Hao borrowed money from her. Jia Yu is shocked and confronts Zhen Hao. Zhen Hao doesn’t dare tell Jia Yu that he’s jobless and makes up an excuse that his salary is late. Zhen Xin and her new boyfriend, Liang Song, get closer. She takes him to the restaurant to meet Zhen Hao, Jia Yu, Xiao Zhuang and Baldy.  Jia Yu finds out that Zhen Hao has lost his job and is very upset that he has hidden such a major thing from her. Zhen Hao tries to explain but to no avail. He becomes depressed. Hui Rong is worried about them and blames Zhen Hao for hiding the truth from Jia Yu. (Source: Viu)
