Chen Jia Yu’s mother loses her way while delivering a batch of food to a film crew. By the time Jia Yu and Liu Hui Rong find her, it is too late, and the film crew has ordered lunch from another supplier. Hui Rong loses a potential major long-term customer and blames Jia Yu’s mother deep down. She is even more displeased with Jia Yu when the latter admits to feigning illness, and things get even worse when Uncle Li says Zhen Hao and Jia Yu agreed to sell the brand name of Xingyuanzhai to Hou Wei Yi. Hui Rong angrily stares at Jia Yu, who is frightened and quickly says it’s not true. Jia Yu’s mother and Hui Rong finally quarrel fiercely at dinner after Hui Rong picks on Jia Yu for being shallow and not wanting to do chores or have children. Annie excitedly brings Zhen Xin to a big building, where Liang Song plays a video declaring his love for her on the huge external screen. He then appears before her, holding a bunch of balloons, and proposes. Touched, she accepts. But at home, the news doesn’t match the celebration she expects. Hui Rong does not trust Liang Song and objects. The next morning, Jia Yu turns up at Xingyuanzhai to help out and overhears Hui Rong grumbling about her Taiwanese daughter-in-law to Uncle Li, saying she would prefer Song Xiao Zhuang, a proper Beijing girl, as a daughter-in-law.
