Both families are once again sitting together, in a friendly atmosphere this time. Jia Yu's parents requested that the wedding follow Taiwanese customs. Liu Hui Rong agreed readily. Jia Yu's mom then requests that Liu Hui Rong come to Taiwan to propose marriage and for the wedding to be held in Taipei. Liu Hui Rong objects. The two mothers start to argue. Jia Yu's dad tries to stop the argument but accidentally lets slip that they intend for Zhen Hao to marry into their family. Liu Hui Rong becomes furious, saying they cannot take her son away. Jia Yu's parents decide to take Jia Yu back to Taiwan. Before boarding the plane, Jia Yu manages to get away. On the plane, Jia Yu's mom shouts over the phone to her that she doesn't have a daughter like her. Zhen Hao wants an explanation from Jia Yu about marrying into their family. Jia Yu says it isn't true at all. Zhen Hao explains to Liu Hui Rong. Liu Hui Rong decides she can accept anything as long as her son doesn't marry into that family. Zhen Xin looks up Taiwanese wedding customs for her, and she is shocked at how many rules there are. But she decides to do her best to satisfy any request for the sake of her son's happiness.
