I am not sure how to feel about it just yet. The episode started out well until the actual subject matter of kidnapping takes place. The show became a place of absurdity. The characters that were introduced don't really seem humans and I kept forwarding the episode. I am not sure whether I want to continue watching it just after an episode.

I feel like the husband/dad (or adoptive dad) is involved in the kidnapping. Nasty and shady af from the start.
