I really don't understand the low ratings for this Drama. To me this was my first Korean rom-com. I understand the flow was slow, and Ga In seemed a pushover, but that is what her character was all about. Her character's strength lies in the fact that she doesn't hold grudges and forgives everyone. Obviously she needed to grow some back bone, but she had always been empathetic to others. Her endearing and soft nature is what made people like.

I loved the "game over" kiss. That is one of the best ones I have seen in my K-drama watching history. I also eagerly waited for our hero to fall for our heroine. The wait did not disappoint me. I was rewarded with angst filled episodes and a "game-over" kiss.

The story could be argued to be weak. Why didn't Ga In further question Jin Ho about his motivations? Anyways Director Choi was my favourite. It is rare in dramas to portray someone like his character in such a mature light. Overall this drama gave me a really happy feeling for a long time.

Personal Taste is no new drama, but I happened to have the urge to re-watch it, which I did and I can confidently tell you, that I did not regret re-watching it :p

It's no different from it's synposis, a clean freak-arrogant-proud-always- get- what- he- wants guy meets an untidy-impulsive-stupidly-kind hearted girl and the God of love pulled a fast one on both of them. And of course, there are characters that don't want both of them to be together. Actually the storyline might not be any difference, but the plot was well-laid.

The main characters had issues from their past, that they've lived with and they have to challenge their present, in other to be able to solve (let go) the past. Most of the characters also underwent some changes as the drama unfolds i.e they had a better and clearer perspective towards life and...... The acting and the characters were wonderfully portrayed, mixing the characters up would be impossible.

The OSTs were really good, I for one have no complaints whatsoever about the OSTs.

It is difficult for me to estimate this drama. Cast and their acting is brilliant, but I do not like plot and storyline, it is weak. There were moments (for example, some character's actions or boring relationship between characters or dialogues, most hateful was Director Jin Ho's teachings), which I consider not to see or wish not to be inserted in drama.

BUT, notwithstanding of all these, I recommend to watch "Personal Taste"

when I first read the plot of this it sounded great and I wasn't dissapointed! Ah I love this drama! The interaction between the two characters is really funny and I just love the transformation of Kae In's character thoughout the drama. I felt I could relate to Kae In quite a bit, so the experience was even more enjoyable. The set, the house is soo cool I want one! ><
I made sure I got a copy of this drama so I could watch it over and over, I hardly ever do this but this drama was one of the few that I have!

If u like dumb clumsy annoying female character this drama is for u.

I started watching it after going through good reviews, & of course becoz of lee min ho, but in the last.. it was... Borrriiing...

The comedy lacked
Plot circling around an old house & cheating ex bf & bff
Female lead, dumb, clumsy, stupid, easily manupulated, no bravery, and messy, a grown up but acts more like a child

Male lead lacked chrasima

Utterly boring, i hoped for many time it will get better. But in last I decided it to just drop.

The cheating ex & bff seems more imp in the story so no point to continue watching it.

The twists and events that take place are very funny, very sad, very frustrating, and so great^^

I really liked this drama, and was so sad to finish the last episode.

I think the acting is GREAT!

This review may contain spoilers
1. Great acting from both leads as well as supporting roles.

2. Great plot, yes there were some cliche moments and etc. but wasn't it enjoyable?
I mean come on, Lee Minho had to pretend to be gay... YES, GAY!!! He also had to act as a love/makeover/dating expert for the female lead, let's just say... I learned quite a lot in those scenes... and you would too if you join the bandwagon!

3. I think this is quite subjective but I found this drama to be extremely rewatchable, Idk why but yeah... for me this drama is kinda like a classic, something I would watch repeatedly without getting tired of the drama.

I've watched some other dramas acted by Lee Minho before stumbling upon this treasure but I never actually like those dramas, like for example, the one and only "Boys over Flowers". Yes, I know, it's kinda like a classic as well and probably a lot of people's first-ever dramas (it was mine), and maybe that drama was the start of people's deep infatuation with Lee Minho. But for me, this was the drama that Lee Minho truly shone his versatility in acting, even though he acted in this drama quite early on in his career, he managed to portray the male lead perfectly, he manages to capture the maturity that is needed to be able to portray the male lead properly, all the while still at the start of his career. It was from this drama, that truly showcased to me how much potential Lee Minho has in the field of acting.

I don't really understand why the ratings of this drama in this platform seem to be so low but I don't care, this for me is the best K-Drama. Sorry, not sorry. So, hopefully, for people who've been planning to watch this drama now for quite a while or for people who have given up on watching this drama because of the low ratings and have returned to this because you're bored or something, please don't just look at the ratings, look at the other reviews made as well. I really recommend this to anyone and everyone, so please watch this and rate this drama higher. LOL.

Funny, funny and more funny! This drama should have a little higher rating in my eyes. It was well played and really nice (light) storyline made this that more enjoyable to watch. If you want to laugh, and really spend few hours of good entertainment watch this one and I'm sure you will agree with me - Personal Taste will be on your favorite list too!

This program has a classic fun idea, but has some story foot-dragging that delayed its end

-- probs cause the studio needed 16 Episodes
I'm a sucker for this sort of plot-line & I still had issues with this program. I believe this program didn't have enough ideas to warrant 16 hour long episodes. This is a great show to dabble in and get out quickly whilst the going is still good. The phrasing referring to a gay person being less than a man was mean-spirited in my opinion, but I suppose that could've been the South Korean culture or scriptwriters bias at the time (all this social convention stuff is protean; so hopefully it has changed for the better as of now or anon). You could try to watch this program at a quickened pace or skip the filler bits like one does with the 40%+ Naruto filler, but it'll be a puzzle. So you'll probably need to find a person who had already watched the program to tell you which bits are the good bits.
Methinks I got out at a good spot. I waited to find out how he was going to come out, and his coming out ended up sort of meh so ROFL. This show had potential, but it sort of faded for me around episode 7-11.

It was one of the best dramas i have ever seen watching it made me cry and laugh and even get angry it also made me stay up way past my bedtime to like 4 in the morning to just to watch it.and their love was beautiful and it made me wish that shows were real life and i especially love the actor Lee Min Ho i garantee that the majority of the girls watching this drama will be half in live with him after the first episode.also they didn't just stop the show at their first kiss and them getting together they had them go through trial and that what really got the water works going.all in the best
