Wei Guang tries to cover up his crimes of taking the White Jade Cauldron and embezzling money from Northern Yan. To erase all evidence, he tries to kill Official Liu, but Wen Yue and A Chu stop this from happening. Wei Guang sacrifices himself, so the rest of the Wei family is spared. The Emperor, impressed with A Chu's archery skills, sends her to be an archery trainer in Prince Che's army, and Wen Yue assigns her to the Xiuli army, where she meets He Xiao.
