The three heroes battle... Lu Bu...

What a wonderful fighting scenes between the three heroes and Lu Bu. Lu Bu is really formidable, and Liu Bei still seems honorable. I really enjoy the fight scenes between Lu Bu and the three heroes. The change of capitol near the end of this episode proves to me what I know all along when I first watch this series... that Dong Zhuo is a tyrant. He only cares for himself and not the citizens. I hope he gets deposed, soon. At this point, I am rooting for Liu Bei. He seems to be the most honorable man among all the characters!

great battle scene!

Another nice episode. I was quite impressed with Lu Bu's fighting skill (even though cinematography wise, one could argue that the battle scene was a little bit 'fishy'; I actually enjoyed it tremendously). Lu Bu has shown great ability and, once again, the three 'brothers' with Lui Bei as their leader have proven themselves worthy of the honourable esteem I already keep them (well, especially for Lui Bei). Cao Cao's move was logical, of course, and I am already aware of the fact that he will go a long way. Lui Bei and Cao Cao are both very ambitious men, though their ways are different, to say the least. The scene with the changing of the capital was devastating.

Also, I need to say: fangirl moment.
Lu Bu was excessively handsome this episode!

The bout with Lu Bu

Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei leave the 18 lords' camp and leave them with a gift: to bout Lu Bu and offer them his head.

But Lu Bu is not the first general of Dong Zhou's Xiliang army for nothing and he proves to be a formidable force to deal with. The sequence of the bout on horseback is engaging and certainly more captivating than the rotten politics going on inside the camp.
