Based on the manga "Hoshi Mamoru Inu" by Murakami Takashi. An unidentified middle aged man (Nishida Toshiyuki) is found dead in his car, near a camping ground, on a mountain. His dog, an Akita, lays next to him. The dog died approximately six months after the death of the man.
