Do you believe in love after death? On the eve of her 19th birthday, Mizuki doesn't have a lot to celebrate about. Her mother recently committed suicide, her stepfamily bothers her, her boyfriend has been cheating on her and her best friend has betrayed her. Hurt and disillusioned, Mizuki runs from everything and is drawn by some unknown force to a dilapidated estate. Deep within the house Mizuki discovers the mysterious Adam, playing a hauntingly familiar melody on the guitar. Melancholy and full of secrets, it seems that Adam, and the house, have a strange, irresistible link to Mizuki. Can Mizuki's boyfriend and a couple of well-meaning schoolchildren uncover the secret of what happened 19 years ago and free Mizuki before the last quarter of the moon falls? Edit Translation

I love life after death stories, & this was a really good story about that issue. Do u want to move on to the next world or stay in this 1? Do u have a reason to stay? Those r questions that r answered in this movie. The dark essence of love & the need to always be w/ the 1 u love is a exceptionally well expressed theme in this movie. I loved the music. I will be looking it up to dl to my mp3. I will watch this movie again. Enjoy !~)

Overall: Just finished this movie and mainly only watched it for Hyde (the synopsis sounded okay, too). Yeah, too bad he gets about four sentences and twenty/thirty minutes of airtime total.
and I have to say, I am still rather confused.
The beginning makes absolutely no sense at all and is only connected to the later, main story, by the barest of strings. I understand why the included it, but still, rather useless and only adds confusion.

Story: Over all rather confusing. Interesting idea behind it, but not planned or expressed well.

Acting/Cast: Actually, the acting wasn't bad. Each actor portrayed their character as best they could, given the cheesy lines they spouted.

Music: The music also ups the overall score a bit. I really liked the piano version of the "familiar song"

Rewatch Value: The only reason I'd rewatch it is if I really feel like I'd understand it more the second time. I doubt it, though.
