On the eve of her 19th birthday, Mizuki is grappling with a recent family tragedy, a cheating boyfriend, and a betrayal by her best friend. In despair, she flees to a dilapidated estate where she encounters Adam, a mysterious figure playing a familiar melody. Drawn to him and the house, Mizuki uncovers a haunting connection. I love life after death stories, & this was a really good story about that issue. Do u want to move on to the next world or stay in this 1? Do u have a reason to stay? Those r questions that r answered in this movie. The dark essence of love & the need to always be w/ the 1 u love is a exceptionally well expressed theme in this movie. I loved the music. I will be looking it up to dl to my mp3. I will watch this movie again. Enjoy !~)

Overall: Just finished this movie and mainly only watched it for Hyde (the synopsis sounded okay, too). Yeah, too bad he gets about four sentences and twenty/thirty minutes of airtime total.
and I have to say, I am still rather confused.
The beginning makes absolutely no sense at all and is only connected to the later, main story, by the barest of strings. I understand why the included it, but still, rather useless and only adds confusion.

Story: Over all rather confusing. Interesting idea behind it, but not planned or expressed well.

Acting/Cast: Actually, the acting wasn't bad. Each actor portrayed their character as best they could, given the cheesy lines they spouted.

Music: The music also ups the overall score a bit. I really liked the piano version of the "familiar song"

Rewatch Value: The only reason I'd rewatch it is if I really feel like I'd understand it more the second time. I doubt it, though.
