Loved it!

I love lakorns but, unfortunately, many times I find myself fast forwarding through scenes and episodes of many of the lakorns I watch. Sampatan Huajai, however, was nothing like that! In fact, I found myself going back to rewatch some of my favourite scenes! Miracle!

Weir and Thisa were stunning and, after watching these 16 episodes, I cannot think of a better pair for the role of Naboon and Wan. I loved Naboon and his protective; cunning; caring and lovable (and cute) nature. I loved Wan and her smartness; strength and dedication to her family and ability to think things through and not jump to conclusions. I love how we see their strengths and weak moments. Basically, I loved everything regarding their relationship - which was what I loved the most about this lakorn. I fell in love with their chemistry, their longing eyes, their cute scenes, their respect and support towards each other.

The plot also progressed pretty well and the story was great. It was interesting, gripping and full of action and mischievousness. My favourite action scenes were within the island, they were exciting! The action does slow down after 5 episodes and we start seeing less of the main leads together, which is a bit sad but the lakorn remained interesting and exciting. As usual, there were some misunderstandings between leads - as with every lakorn - but the best thing is that it was not those misunderstandings that drove the story forward since the plot was strong enough to not require that. Even the side stories added to the plot progression. On other lakorns, I usually just roll my eyes when useless side stories show up and skip through the scene. However, the great supporting character in the show made me stay through every scene. They were intriguing and funny and their own stories interesting.

The lyrics were beautiful. "I just realized I can't live without you... Thank you for being in my life " – that’s beautiful! The soundtrack fitted perfectly with the story and the scenes.

Long review short. This is one of the best lakorns I have watched and if you're looking for some good plot and chemistry, with added action, then this is the lakorn for you and I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed this Lakorn.

The leads were fantastic in each of their roles, the romance was smart and well done. There was plenty of action, great side characters I (for once) didn't want to fast-forward through and the ending was wonderful.

One of my main complaints of a Lakorn is watching 16-30+ hours of a show only to get 2.5minutes of a "happy ending" tagged onto the end. I want a better pay off, you know? THIS is the first Lakorn I have ever watched where the "happy ending" was nearly an hour long. I LOVED and was SHOCKED by it.

I put this Lakorn off for so long and I really regret not watching it earlier. It was fabulous.

Give it a try. I'm certain you'll enjoy it! :-)

Perfect match <3

I love how Weir acts as a gentleman in this lakorn, it makes me fall for him even more <3 This is the first time Weir and Thisa act together, and I can say their chemistry is off the charts!! The last episode really shows it. Aside from the main characters, the side characters are also well portrayed.

I really love the pace of this lakorn...it's a slow-burn romance, and I enjoyed most of the romantic scenes. However, I do think their moments in the island are much stronger.

The musics are great, they have good melodies and I like them.

Overall, I think this is a great lakorn considering that I usually watch revenge/ slap and kiss lakorns. It has a good production value and fantastic island scenes as well.

Enjoyable for the leads

STORY:
A woman Rattawan and her son are abducted on an island to be killed but they are saved by Naboon the owner of the island who protects them until they can go back to the continent. He goes with them as he has feeling for the mother and decides to protect her and unveil who ordered to kill her. This part was fun and entertaining for the plot, the action, the way they slowly start to trust each other and develop feelings. After this, Naboon is injured and Rattawan decides to stay away from him. Ensues plenty of misunderstanding as they push each other away even if they know each other's feelings. This part was quite draggy and the plot did not advance. In the last part, the pace really picks up and there are a lot of good action until the enjoyable closure.

CHARACTERS/ ACTING:
- Naboon: Weir did a good job portraying a great boss and a good guy. Torso naked on the island or in suit with tie on the continent, he was always full of charm and a good leader. At times I found him not decisive enough specially in his relation with Rattawan. He missed many opportunities to kiss her or hug her. They still kiss when one of them is sleeping. It made their relationship look a bit unrealistic and boring as it lacked a little foolishness. Both of them wanted to be a good person. A litlle daring side in their feelings would have made it more fun in my opinion.
- Rattawan: I liked the portrayall of this woman who looks quiet but can be strong and decisive. Again, she was too restrained regarding her feelings but I guess it is the character. Her chemistry with the male lead was very good. She looked a good daughter and a good mother too.
- Paramet : the husband who looked a spoiled rich kid who forgot to grow up and did not notice he is married with a son. He was funny and crazy at the same time.
- The evil woman : she was a bit too grotesque and I thought she had too much ugly make up and too much spite. I liked her demise though.
- Captain Patai was ok as a friend and partner of investigations. I thought he was very not in a hurry to find his sister and his complex of inferiority is understandable but I don't really know why he hid his feelings for that.
- Boonjira was a nice character but her bad experience turns her into an annoying one. I kinda pitied her for constantly being taken for a fool by her brother and the friend.
Others interesting characters with depth and development: Son, Rotsukorn.
Annoying ones: The little girl who likes Naboon on the island and becomes part of Rattawan's peopl, Chumpon the distant relative and Erb's brother. Funny how these two ended.

MUSIC: A bit repetitive.

REWATCH VALUE: It was entertaining but not enough epic or romantic scenes for me to rewatch

OVERALL: an good drama which is entertaining with excellent leads characters and good secondary characters but a bit draggy in the middle with too many back and forth and misunderstandings between the two leads.

This is a very good action romance lakorn. The leading couple has great chemistry and did very well bringing their characters to life. Although some supporting actors were not up to par in acting skills, the drama excels in showing great feelings and camaraderie among Naboon’s and Rattawan’s friends and family. The soundtrack is very nice and fitting with the story. Although there are a few frustrating moments with the antagonists winning at every turn of events, the resolutions are satisfactory and the leading couple get to show their interaction as a couple throughout the last episode. The drama is really entertaining, enjoy it!

Amazing!

The idea of bird nests business is just amazing. I appreciate the production team for portraying this kind of profession. The scenery (forest, beach) is also beautiful.

The story is well developed. I enjoyed the part when they stay in the island. The conflict is unique & already intense. When they move to the city, it's getting more intense & complicated with the involvement of ex-wife, troubled husband, & another woman (it's typical conflict in lakorn, but i still could deal with this, hahaha)

I also love the main leads' character. Weir is strong & tough, but he can also be jealous of unnecessary things, & be like a kid when he's sick. It's really cute actually :) While Thisa, she's smart & tough when facing her 'enemies', but she's just like any other woman who's easily touched when a man does good things to her. I also like her way of slapping. Instead of just using her palm, she uses all of the energy in her arm. That's why it looks powerful. LOL.

The chemistry? It's beyond expectation. Weir & Thisa are perfect match. They show their feeling by taking care of each other. It's not a one-sided love story where only the FL or ML is aggressive towards another. I can say that now Weir-Thisa is one of my favorite on screen couple.

We have 33 years old Weir, and 27 years old Thisa Varitthisa, portraying a mother of a schoolboy aged child. I don't remember her from any lakorn before this one. Right in episode 1, there is a "Weir trade-mark" scene showing his huge armpit sweat stains, here for understandable reason after climbing a rope ladder with her on a top of him. Unlike the main actress, him of course I remember from previous lakorns over a decade. Only I don't recall a single one in which he was NOT visibly sweating, lol.

Since episode 2, pra'ek and nang'ek (who just met each other) establish live-in relationship with him being constantly shirtless and her handling his medicine cabinet and his accounting, lol. By episode 4, pra'ek is in love:)) Still, he doesn't know her real name, yet.

The kid is tiny bit more on the annoying side, but still managable. The pra'ek-nang'ek dynamics is cute & hot on the right level, from the start. Thisa compliments Weir where he's lacking and vice versa (I always say Weir is so ugly he's practically cute... But he can be expressive with his eyes and portray feeling clearer than most doll-like pretty people:) so their chemistry definitely works.

The whole "action plot" with bad guys trying to kill nang'ek and other "criminal stuff" is of course quite stupid and is best ignored. Let's just say nang'ek is stuck on the island with pra'ek for whatever reason, lol. I tried my best not to laugh during the "thrilling" sequences and just enjoy the romance. Weir is of course in a very manly role. He never portrays sissy boys:) By episode 7, his feelings are no longer unreciprocated. But there is only so much time they can keep prolonging her stay on his island for.

Back on the mainland, Weir starts wearing a suit, Thisa wears more sophisticated outfits and more makeup. More side-people are getting in between and both sides are more jealous. But no matter what, Weir's pra'ek never stops being the protective knight. After all, nang'ek IS surrounded by crazy & dangerous people, now even more ridiculous in more civilized surroundings. Nevertheless, Weir & Thisa scenes remain enjoyable. Pairing these two was a good pick from the lakorn producers, though a rare one. I realized how much I got used to it that onscreen couples are usually not this compatible.

By 3/4 of the series, I found it too much crime/action filled. Characters appeared in extreme situations every now and then. Feelings then should get revealed. And addressed. Instead, we quickly move to next action sequence, and the next. What I must also mention is though, that when the main couple DID have a little space for themselves, their scenes were very enjoyable. Even the female did what I wanted in many lakorns to see, and didn't:) And their onscreen kiss wasn't so horrendous as the second couple's (Hana Lewis should rather skip that scene if she wasn't ready for it).

The ending was very sweet & oldschool romantic, if a bit more prolonged than necessary. And there's a beach scene... where pra'ek bites his nang'ek, LOL. Never seen such thing, just how comfortable must have Weir be with Thisa, to shoot such thing lol.

Superb Chemistry!!

Right from the start, I was indulged in the story til the end. I like the chemistry between the main leads, especially when the male lead projects his love and adoration for the female lead. Weir oh my God, this is my first time watching his lakorn. I've seen his name in the comment sections before, and some thai lakorns even refer him as the "Dark, Tall and Handsome" kind of guy, now I know why. But it's not just his look, his acting is great, and it feels REAL. Now I know why he always collects Best Actor awards, this lakorn proves it. Usually when I watch thai lakorns, I tend to skip a lot of unnecessary scenes, but oddly for this one, I didn't fast forward any scene. What I like the most is the ending. It's worthy, and superrrrrrr sincerely sweet. For those who want to watch dramas with a great ending, this is it.

Acting :
Weir and Thisa really own their characters. I like Thisa's portrayal in this one, she's mature and rational, while weir's portrayal of Naboon is great. His topless scenes are Wow hehehe <3

Music :
Good musics with great lyrics. I think of the lyrics "Thank you for coming into my life..." really captures my heart.

Rewatch value :
I would rewatch this lakorn for the great chemistry. I love Naboon and Rattawan. Definitely one of the best on-screen couples, there I said it.

Pouco romance

Se você está a procura de ação é aqui, se procura romance vai embora porque tem muito pouco. Contato físico quase zero. Beijos nenhum. Três beijinhos nós 40 minutos finais do último episódio. Não gostei por isso.
Quanto a ação, tudo bem.
