Why is Hyeon-Woo the lead?

Of all the characters in the show I feel Hyeon-Woo is the weakest. Evasive, non confrontational, I have called him this time and time again, he is just every shade of pastel there are in the world. Always calm and contained but never in a good way, he never emotes and that is what I hate about him. After meeting Tae In after has ruined his love life he can't even convincingly show anger or frustration. He always has a stupid smile plastered on his face and agreed he looks the right way and says the right thing it never feels right. Bo Ri may be whiny and weepy, Tae In may be rash and immature but atleast they are something. From the male lead of the show, we never get anything ever...he is like a plastic ken doll. Only good for show.
As for how Tae In acted in this episode, I feel that it was necessary to justify the final outcome the show is leading towards. Tae In may be a good friend and under all that sass and attitude, there is a good and kindhearted person, but he is still a high school student. As a 'teen' (I say this because Gong Yoo was 26 when they cast him as a 17 year old in this show) he still needs to learn that there are consequences to his actions that he needs to face once he has planned a course of action. Just as a child wanting a toy, he does not see that the way he has acted is wrong, all he sees is what he needs to do to get what he wants which in this case is Bo Ri.
Also week after week the students have such dire situations, last week terminal illness and now a blind sister!!! Really show!!! How pitiful are the students in Bo Ri's class. One sob story after another.

Uhmmm

Wait I'm sorry, is what Tae-in is doing supposed to be romantic? Him holding her in his arms while she cries, him comforting her and "saving" her when her fiance comes out running after her? Romantic? I'm not even sorry, this is bullshit. He is the exact reason she is suffering right now. Had he not interfered, the teacher's old girlfriend wouldn't have gotten her hopes up. Had Tae-in not interfered, Na Bo Ri wouldn't be doubting herself so much and she probably wouldn't be having so many fights and heartaches over her love. I just... I... THIS IS SO STUPID LIKE I JUST WANT TO PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE. I really wish she hadn't gotten on his motorcycle and just fucking walked right past him, jumped over the fence and treated herself to a good afternoon. Sure, get sad and stuff, and then go talk to her boyfriend and ask him what's up, what can we do to fix our relationship. I just really hate Tae-in right now and I hope Na Bo Ri can figure out quickly what he's done so she can punch him in the face.

The urge to slap that B*tch!

That new girl is getting on my nerves!!
I am adding her in one of my most hated villain girl in Kdrama world! Urgggh.

She's ruining all the hardship nabori has been made. & the director was so impolite, as if nabori was useless in that school.

fortunately, Tae-in was always there for nabori even though he's adding more fuel in the fire. :P

& hyun-woo looks so confused, he didn't know what to do.
