Min Kwang Se is hard up to come up with funds for a contract to export goods to America. His wife, Hyun Suk, goes to a Nam Gung Jin, a loan shark, and borrows the money. Kwang Se exports his goods to America but a large quantity of the goods need to be remade due to damages. They need extra funds for that so Hyun Suk borrows more money and signs a note. When the due date for repayment passes before the money comes from America, Hyun Suk does all that Gung Jin demands and disappears to somewhere. Ten years later, Hyun Suk's children have become musicians as she had hoped they would. Before going off to America for their studies, her daughter Young Ah and son Yong Su hold a commemorative recital.
